7/10 Not a bad episode, but a middling one.

Trench was interesting as a tactician and character design, but I couldn't stand his voice and all the chirping/clicking. It was nice to see some more space combat that has been sorely missing from the show, but it would be nice if it wasn't over Christophsis, which we've seen way too much of.

That said, it is really interesting seeing Yularen and Anakin's first assignment together, and their budding respect for each other. Yularen also made the neat reference to Trench serving before the Clone Wars, suggesting another conflict from the past, like the Stark Hyperspace Conflict.

The Stealth Frigate looked pretty neat, and it gave off the nice feel of a submarine movie with the cloaking device. I also really enjoyed the side plot involving the rookie clone crewman. It didn't impact the story in a significant way, but it was cool to see the little details added in. One of my favorite scenes in the episode marked a high point for the animation. When Yularen and Anakin are discussing Trench along the gangway of the frigate, there is some nice play with the depth-of-field as it focuses on the main casts' faces, leaving the clones in the background kinda blurry, but still animated. It wasn't a big, bombastic scene of animation, but I thought it was really well done.

But for god's sakes, Hermes Organa was not needed in this episode at all. He contributed nothing to the story but to provide a cringe-worthy shout out to the Original Trilogy, and just felt completely shoehorned in.

Dammit, that 3/10 is supposed to be a 4/10.

Really felt like Storm Over Ryloth rehashed with a less memorable villain. Like Trench's design and legendary status, but that's about it.

Felt like Bail's "help me Obi-Wan Kenobi" was shoehorned in.

The nosedive of S2 continues after Senate Murders.....

    7/10

My biggest problem with this episode was it another prequel and the whole Christophsis storyline was starting to get really old. On the plus side though, Trench was fairly original and it is a pity he died.

7 for me as well. A good episode but nothing stands out. The stealth ship plot was a cool idea and looked cool. This had some mild moments of suspense. Trench seemed somewhat threatening. Anakin and Yularen meeting for the first time was cool. I also liked the clone with the yellow jaig eyes, bet he'd be fun at a rave.

I had to give ten because i didn't find anything to complain about. Okay lack of pilotdroids and Obi-Wan's naval officer but that's general complaint about whole show.....

I liked design and character of Trench... and it is pity if he died:p Okay it may be too late but i won't give up hope- if he did it once he may do it again survive the destruction of his ship- he is first and by far last (I think) Harch to appear so we cannot say how tough he is....

Yularen was nicely in spotlight- and prequels -i never hated them.... good old time before Ahsoka:p there just is something more classic when she is not with Anakin while i've learnt to like her nowadays.....

Stealth ship was nice idea for an episode but too bad we are never told what happened to it.... Bail instead of Padmé is very welcome and I don't think that OT-quote was shoehorned- it suited there very well...

Music was bit too Star Trek but i dunno it suited nicely to spaceaction episode....

little complaint was that clone there -Spark- he was odd addition to otherwise Anakin's episode but he really didn't affect negatively to episode so i let it be like that....

We even saw alderaanian guards/workers there so there was something in the episode that feels so logic with movies- surprisingly rare in TCW- harch like trench could easily be seen in cantina of OT but nice to see these weirdos are like real people and they don't have to be local drunkards on Mos Eisley -but as well succesful admirals of confederate navy... hopefully Trench is alive and kicking and returns to revenge his defeat- after all rather him than Maul:p

Well, we could also say that the 10/10 troll struck as well, as for me this feels like a very middle-of-the-road episode. I gave it a 6. It's good, but pretty unremarkable. I hate the "design" for Trench, though his character was pretty cool. The stealth ship was nice, with some interesting supsenseful scenes, but it all didn't amount to much in the end.

    9/10

I love this episode as i have a thing for space battles, and this was pretty neat. Christophsis was redundant yes, but for me it's not that big of an issue. Trench was kinda cool, and it was annoying that they killed him off at the end of the episode. The majority of my 9 though goes to how well Yularen and Anakin work together in this episode, it's pretty neat to see that. Overall, good episode.

Oh, and what a terrible name for an episode. Makes it feel so mundane.

I for one am glad Trench died the way he did. He was an ok character, but he served his purpose.

I like the idea of stealth ships, but...I find it difficult to get around the notion of "invisible" ships.

Aside from that, unneeded ANH homage and not a fan of anthropomorphic animals as acceptable designs for aliens.

Could have been good but a lot of wasted potential.

6/10. I didn't think that this was a bad episode so much as an unmemorable one. The battle was competently done, but as others have said, it seemed like an unnecessary re-tread of Christophsis (surely it's been milked for every last drop by now?). As for Trench, I thought that he was fine as an antagonist, but despite the striking character design I didn't find him as memorable as other one-shot Seperatist villains like Mar Tuuk or Lok Durd.

    8/10.

Reasonably good, primarily for the Yularen aspects of the story. The Yularen-Anakin relationship was fleshed out well in the episode. The rest of it was intriguing but merely good rather than excellent.

We see Anakin the pilot at his best. Many episodes seem to delegate the flight duties to Ahsoka.

9/10, the last good episode of Season 2 despite not being really outstaning. There was plenty of suspense and it was nice to see Anakin's first time working with Yularen. Overall a fun prequel that felt like it actually added something to the original episodes.

Hehe, sorry, I posted simultaneoulsy with Swash.

No, you were not trolling, Swash, if it's your opinion that this espisode deserves a 10, then that's perfectly ok. I only said that because nobody had claimed that 10 at that point, just as nobody's claimed that 1 yet.

Gave it a 7 as well, nothing too memorable but besides the shoehorned Obi-Wan comment I don't really have any complaints about the episode. Bonus points for Anakin's co-pilot Imperial inspired look.

Really? I thought that was the episode "Bounty Hunters". Not that you're not entitled to your opinion. I also didn't have a problem with the Boba Fett trilogy. Then again, I didn't see the whole trilogy(just the first episode).

Yeah, R2 Come Home was pretty much the biggest disappointment of the series. Going by the preview the trilogy looks better than the OT, PT and chocolate put together but unfortunately LFL puts way more effort into previews than episodes. [face_plain]

Best scene is when anakin and the admiral are talking and you see one of the clones walking all the way info the back of the chip. Reminds me of Luke leaving CPO with Artoo as he walks out of the garage into the another part of the homestead.

    9/10

The only thing I found "wrong" with this episode was the arguments that ensued about ship sizes with cloaking devices. Once I got over that it was fantastic.
