1/10 Bloody abysmal. This is Star Wars, not Lassie and the Gundark.

I think you can judge this episode in two different ways: On its own or as part of the Boba Trilogy.

On its own it's sort of an almost OK episode. The setting is very good, it has some interesting things going on with Mace facing his killing of Jango, some nice dynamics between the bounty hunters and I guess R2's antics can be entertaining if you're into that sort of thing. It has some holes, though, like Anakin and Mace being pinned down under a very unstable structure, that can however be cleared off safely and instantly when the troopers arrive, or the fact that an astromech droid is able to evade the barrage of lasers from the Slave One all the way from the ground to space and still dock with the hyper-ring, make the hiperspace calculations and jump before the bounty hunters can fire a second time.

Taken as part of the Boba Trilogy, it's an utter disaster. Boba fades into the background so R2 can do some slapstick. It's mindboggling. This was the chance to get some actual drama between Boba and Mace, or to further explain Aurra's relationship to Boba, or SOMETHING. And yet this is just a little mindless adventure, which completely kills any hope of the long-awaited Boba Trilogy to ever be anything of relevance.

I guess I'll make a sort of average between these two and give it 3/10.

6- it is nice "R2 saves the day"-episode but it has problems

Bit ridiculous to have two jedi trapped like that and astromech going Coruscant to call for aid...... damn EU tells Vanqor is populated i think.... obviously it isn't or R2 doesn't know it has settlements.

As part of Boba-trilogy this is trainwreck...... how they get this idea r2 stealing Boba's story?

Plo saves the day again this already happened in Holocron Heist and then it happens third time in Citadel Rescue:oops:

It was not totally crap and i liked Castas-character and helmet-bomb was kinda cool and creepy- even though it destroyed Jango's helmet..... but as complete episode and part of three-episode arc i cannot help to think how much better idea they could've used for this episode since r2 now stole the show and it was bit bizarre in arc like this.....

1/10. This episode was bad, plain and simple. First of all, this is supposed to be Boba's arc. Why the TCW crew decided to make 1/3 of it about R2 poking Gundarks in the butt is beyond me.

And the plot holes. First of all, as someone posted in the original thread, is Mace can flip himself over then he is not completely trapped. If he has that much wiggle room then he and another Jedi could surely get out of that jam by themselves. Second: Why the kriff couldn't Boba get two shots off to eliminate both hyperspace rings?! They were right beside each other, it wouldn't have taken that long to get in range.

Overall a pointless, goofy, boring episode that didn't add anything at all to the trilogy. Just awful all around.

    8/10

Enjoyable episode on its own, with Vanqor (half the points there with the gundarks) and Mace reflecting on his killing of Jango being the main reasons for my mark

In the trilogy, it is an epic disaster really; why they stuck R2 in there-just odd...

    3/10.

    Gry's analysis is spot on.

And I think we have to mostly judge this episode as part of the trilogy.

I'm judging it solely as part of the trilogy, alone it'd be 5.
Hated that Boba didn't make the shot, hated the R2 stuff.
The fact that R2 went all the way to Coruscant is also annoying.
It gets a point because to my memory it isn't the worst ep I've seen.

I didn't think it was physically possible, but this episode both sucks and blows.

I'll give this ones a middle of the road 5. I actually enjoy the R2 slap stick stuff, its some nice campy plothole filled goodness that may be obsolete in this day and age but is still fun. I also like the beginning of the episode finding the entire crew of the star destroyer 'mysteriously' (not so much really) slaughtered, I think Dethklok would have approved of that brutality. Then it was clever the way Mace figured it out. Booosh! That was a badass explosion.

Unfortunately the episode realistically deserved a 5 because that was only half the episode. Poor Boba really took a back seat which was a poor continuation on the first episode in the arc. Also at around this point Aurra Sing and the other guy started to get on my nerves. Also although I enjoy R2's Home Alone -ish escapades and his escape in this episode, it is Power Rangers (I say this affectionately) level bad and contrived which is not something TCW should be. The ending was also way to quick although I can be forgiving of how easily the rescue party cleared Anakin and Mace out of the wreckage.

    6/10

An okay episode, at the wrong place and at the wrong time. Although I think rating it 1/10 is a bit extreme.

    4/10.

    Mediocre at best.

Absolutely no introspection at all on Boba's part on the fact that he's just killed a few thousand people who have almost the exact same genome as himself in his quest to kill a single Jedi.

This episode could have been so much better (as opposed to a flop) if they replaced the R2 antics/heroics with Boba/Aura character development.

Gave it a 4. 3 for the awesome animation, especially the Jedi Cruiser in ruble, which looked fantastic. Another point for Commander Wolffe in armor. :p

4/10 for the droid fight at the end.

"what's that R2? Anakin's fallen down a hundred foot well and has a compound fracture in his femur?"

Never saw Lassie. Still have no interest in seeing Lassie.

Gamek, this episode certainly has its moments. Anakin and Mace searching the wreckage is very moody, and of course the part with the Mandalorian helmet is a bit eerie and very nicely done. It's the fact that the main focus becomes the R2 heroics/antics and stays there that makes this episode no where near as enjoyable as it should have been.
