For reasons I still can't quite put my finger on, this just wasn't my episode. I gave it a 7 anyway because I think they deserve credit for advancing the story of Ventress in a more nuanced way, which I appreciate. I'm hoping they keep adding new alien models at this rate!

 

This was one of the better episodes of the season, probably just sliding in behind the Krell episodes. It works for me because its pure escapism, it really doesn't try to be deep. It has a simple but effective plot that doesn't have a lot of blanks to fill in.

9/10. Great episodes with tons of fun. Simple but with a few good plot twists. Cool designs and concepts. Lots of great character development. I loved the design of the ninjas and Chrismo's anime like appearance. I really didn't have any problems with this episode but it just doesn't feel like a 10 to me.

Gave it an 8. Really liked this one.

Especially loved how Ventress wrapped things up:

- saving the girl
- making more credits than the rest without ripping them off
- screwing Boba over, yet leaving him his share

Nicely done. I'm curious where she'll go from here.

 

I feel the same, only the other way around! Aside from Ventress' characterization there really wasn't much substance, but no matter how many times I watch the episode I still love it as much as I did Friday night. It was pure fun and action the whole way through, which is why I'm going to ignore Boba's atrocious dialogue and give this episode a 10.

A bit heavy on the ninja theme and not sure I quite believe that so many would give up their lives for one girl. She must be something special.
Great character development for Ventress.

There was something eerily familiar about the ninja leader that I can't quite put my finger on...

Overall, the episode was filler, but good filler that advanced Ventress' character arc along nicely. Also, damn Katie Lucas can actually write.
