Niagara, ON Grape and Wine Festival updates

So now that we are getting close to the date of the Grape and Wine Festival I was wondering. Have any plans come together yet. Including helpers, where we are going to meet and dress up.


I plan on being there.


And any other info on the parade would help as well.

 

We have a meeting this Saturday (the 21st) and its to be one of the topics of discussion.

Great, I have been wondering whats going on involving the Parade.

 

I can't see that the date of the Parade is actually posted anywhere!

Grape and Wine Pen Centre Grand Parade is on Saturday, September 25th starting at 11:00.

This year's theme is " ?Hockey Homecoming: The Pride is Back?. Not sure what we can do with that..LOL!

too bad for me, if I wanted to book time off (Friday night) I had to do that 3 months ago. But I have Saturday off already, so that's good.

leave right after work on Friday... yeah, that's what I did last weekend, ask Justin how it feels to be woken up at 5:30am to let me in... I work till 3 am.

For the record, I don't have a costume and I'm being non-commital on whether I'm going to show up.

If I tell you I'll be there I might. If I tell you I won't I might... so I might as well just tell you I might.

if you don't have a costume don't worry about that, many people have more than one that they'll bring.

I did the St Paddies Day parade. That was interesting with the drunks.

Unfortunately Heath and I will have to miss the G&W this year

I don't know about Heath but even though it poured last year I had a great time. It would have been even better this year now that I know a lot more people.

Next year I will be there. Maybe I'll have another droid finished by then.

I don't see why i shouldn't be there.

Although i lack a costume right now.

 

Oh yeah I know i'll probably be posting this again later when we start comin down to brass tacks, but i got a spare Han Solo costume now. A couple variants (Blue pants, vest, or brown pants, blue jacket) to choose from.

 

I will be there of course, got to work on the costume a bit, some different things to try.

Well, looks like Matt and I will be leaching costumes as per usual...I really should get a costume by now, but Teh Aragorn one is taking up too much time/money on its own (Made myself new boots, whee!).

That said, if you really wanted to stick with the hockey theme, shouldn't be hard to get hockey sticks and TO Jerseys for everybody to borrow, and probably at least half of us can hold our own on rollerblades It would certainly be a hell of a picture
