Okay I got a new Geforce 4 MX 440 AGP today.

The problem is that I have a MS-6340M motherboard with an onboard Savage 4 AGP. Well my question is HOW do I disable the on board video card so that I can run my new one?

Edit: Try following some of the advice below, but if you still have problems, head into this thread and see what else might help.

Try going into your bios at boot up. Hold delete just after you boot up and look through there. If you can't do anything in there, it might be a hassle.

Don't buy a Geforce 4 "***MX***"!!! If you're looking for a Geforce 4, ie, Geforce 3's secessor, The MX is *NOT* it! The GF4 MX family are nothing more than GeForce 2's. Seriously.

GF4 "TI" cards are the ones you're looking for. They are the true Geforce 4's with all the graphic power you've heard about. But, if GF2 is fast enough for you, go for it.
