Buff, NY Grateful Thanks Reposted

We cannot begin to imagine what we might have done to even be considered for the Yoda Award.
So you can understand our utter amazement at winning it Saturday night at the North East Fan Force banquet, as evinced by the short, rambling and incoherent acceptance speech.
Now that the shock has worn off, we want everyone to know how deeply honored we are to have received such an accolade. Over the past 30 years, STAR WARS has introduced us to some our best friends, many of whom we've gained because of The North Ridge.
Congratulations also to our co-winner, Ithorian.
We love you all deeply, and hope we can continue to live up to the tennents of the Yoda Award.

You have gone above and beyond everyone's expectations at every turn.
You have been a rock to this community, a shoulder to lean on and a kind
and loving couple who have done more than was needed because that's
just the type of folks you are!
I for one am thrilled you recieved the award and look forward to seeing you
both very soon!

You two deserve that award and we all know it! You have welcomed new folks to the group, supported existing members, and been a rock for all of us through thick and thin. The voice of reason (well, okay, sometimes the voice of silliness!), and all around great folks. We're all proud of you and lucky to be in the group with you.

I'm only sorry I wasn't there to actually see your rambling acceptance speech. Was anyone there taking video of the awards?

 

You guys rock, and you deserve that award for everything you do.
