Greatest Hero of the New Republic

Anakin Skywalker- he killed the Emperor.

 

Han Solo and Chewie greatest Hero team of the New Republic. As for individual Hero its a tie between Luke and Han for me.

 

Why on earth would any one vote for 21B ? That diffiantly could use some explaining.

 

I want to vote for a group. I would have to say, Rogue Squadron. They were there from the beginning and will continue to be there till the end. I guess you could say that if it wasn't for Rogue squadron the New Republic would have died at Yavin.

 

Grand Admiral Thrawn for being the closest to come to defeating the foolish, misguided rebels.

 

I think at first glance you could say Luke or Wedge but how about the one who always is there when our heros need him the most....R2D2.....Think about it.

 

I'd say Wedge. He fought the Ssi-Ruk, rebuilt Rogue Squad, led the battles to take Coruscant, helped take Corsucant, secured the bacta supply, freed Thyfera (spell?), formed Wraith Squadron, was the main person in taking down the warlords.

Not to mention, did something a bunch of newcomer Jedi adults, Jedi brats and military officials couldn't do---KICKED THE VONGS' BUTT.

He didn't just kill a Vong or two; didn't 'get to know them and how they feel' and sing Kumbaya (spell?) like Jacen. He cooked up the plan that killed their greatest warrior/father of their war leader, and took out a Vong planet.

(a very close vote would be Corran Horn; but he didn't rebuild Rogue and create Wraith squadrons)

 

While I'm a big fan of Wedge, I syill have to go with Luke. Overall, he's done stuff that nobody else could have, such as battling Vader and re-establishing the Jedi.

But Wedge is still a very close second.

YEA, YEA. Everyones a Skywalker fan. Well Hell I like the kid to but, I like Wedge better.
