hey guys n girls. This is my first time here so sincere apologies if this has been posted. Why do Obi and Vader swap lightsabers during The Duel? Its only for one part of the fight, but it really baffles me.

probably just picked up whichever one was closest.

 

i wondered about that. thanks for replying, i feel happy knowing that a fellow fan of the films has replied. i hope george releases extended versions of the dvd releases for the films. i saw a cut piece from the phantom menace duel back in 2000 at an exhibition in london. me and my mate watched that clip about twenty times before moving on.
it mite explain why they had each other's lightsabers.
