Roch, NY Greece TRU SW 30th Anniv party - Sat May 19th 12pm-2pm

I think I mentioned this one at the meeting but forgot to start a thread to remind people about it.

This is a joint event between Excelsior & The Rebellion.
We'll be at the Greece TRU Saturday May 19th from 12pm-2pm.

I'm working on the press release still for it (hoped to have it out yesterday).

If you think you can come - costume or not - please post.

Just spoke w/ TRU Joe...

He made up fliers for the event and have them posted around the store as well as handing them out to customers.

He's going to provide us with a table for our standard stuff as well as a glass display case in case we'd like to bring anything we don't want handled. He's going to bring some of his vintage figures to display.

He's also going to organize a trivia contest and provide a gift card or something for the prize.

We'll have access to their breakroom to change in. I told him we'd get there at 11:30am at the latest.

All in all it sounds like this will be a much better experience than the last time we trooped at the Greece TRU. Joe is a definite Star Wars fan.

I am still planning on going to this. I will have to dig out my stuff and bring a couple choice pieces for the display case maybe.

And, the Greece Post listed us, Echo Base & Garrison Excelsior as appearing at the store in their community calendar. We should have lots of kids to visit.
