how are you writing greek with latin alphabet? I always thought that you have ..hmm..strange letters your keyboards adjusted to it?
Our keyboards can write both Latin and Greek letters. When we can't use the Greek letters we use the latin ones and we call it Greeklish. It's like the new language of the Internet and usually it's easier to type using Latin letters than Greek.
Not really, if you have a basic knowledge of English it's easy and we are used to it. Now if I put my grandfather to read Greeklish he may have some problems.
while I'm reading your Greeklish words, can i consider myself that i can spek greek? I learned 2 words 6 years ago.when the Adapazari and Athens earthquakes happened.one of them is "Perastika" and the other is "Gitona"
It's because the Forums don't support Greek characters... Maybe we should make a "Dynami.gr" site, hehe
^ We will Kris, didn't you know? Heheheheeeh... And I really hate this "greeklish" thing. But what to do?
Patience, my friend. We will soon (?) move into vBulletin forum software, which supports greek characters. TanistliN, an example of real greek letters.
The real fun begins when we start using numbers to substitute letters. Numbers 3=ks and 8=th for example..hehe..try reading this -8a parw to spa8i -3exna to
i replied it soon huh? in anyway it seems(writing, reading greeklish) hard to me.it's just like Ottoman youth in early 1900's who changed the Arab alphabet into the latin alphabet
For what it's worth, I think the arab alphabet is much more beautiful than the latin. I've seen some breath taking caligraphy. Is it hard for you to learn how to use it now?
