SWRPF Archive Green Squadron( a training and mission RPG)

Okay, here is the plot. You are members of a new squadron in the New Republic comprised of X-wings.Our era is just before the Thrawn Trilogy but after the hunt for Zsinj.This RP will eventually go into the battles with Thrawn. We are training on a world I have yet to be determined. (hint: It won't matter much anyway.) I'll be the leader of the squadron for a little while until I deem it fit to become just the GM, but my character may drop in from time to time.

I'll need this character sheet filled out and once I get eleven people joined we shall begin the training and eventually go on some missions.

Once you join, start posting for your character as the base we are on has: a bar, a mess hall, and some flight simulators that I'd advise your characters get used to.

 

Okay, here is my character.

Biography: Piloted one of the Medical frigates from hoth, soon joined the starfighter corps and was involved in the Suprosa and battle of Endor. He has been in numerous missions including Coruscant. Has recently been given the responsiblity to start and train a new X-wing squadron.

Flying History: Been in the New Republic since before Hoth.
Personality Traits: Cool, collected.
Physical Features: Tall for a pilot, brown mussy hair, with a tattoo of the Rebel insignia on his left bicep.
Flight Preferences: Born leader.

Biography: A young ace in the making, Mark was borne on Naboo and lived there for most of his childhood. His interest in fighter craft and youthful idealism has led him to the New Republic Air Core. His first mission was escorting Transport 2 away from the Battle of Hoth but he didn't see real combat untill the Battle of Endor.

Flying History: caught up to the rebellion during the Evacuation of Yavin 4, Hoth, Second Death Star, Hit and Run Missions in the outer rim
Personality Traits: valiant, clean cut, joker when appropriet or needed.
Physical Features: Blondish brown hair, green brown eyes, 6' 3"
Flight Preferences: crack shot

 

OOC: Okay, we have our first member. you will be Green 2 until tests accomplish the formation of the actual numbers.

Until we take on the full amount of members, our characters just take in the atmosphere of the base. So, just start RPing. If we play more will come.

 

Mark found his way into the bar. Amoung the many faces were young newbies, old war dogs, familiar species, and strange creatures he had never before seen. His jaw dropped when he saw the face of a long lost friend. "Peetre Joens..." His last memory of Peetre on frigid Hoth hit Mark like a ton of bricks.

 

OOC: i just had an Idea. You can be my partner in forming the squadron since our characters were already in Hoth and Endor together. So, from now on, anyone who joins youre characters need to be NEW members to the New Republic. Me and Blue_10 are the only ones who can have a background that far back into the Rebellion.

Bioon Kreen was born in an imperial cloning base. He saw the evil of the Empire he was being trainer to be a TIE defender pilot. So one day during a solo mission he escaped. He then surrendered and told the NR about the base. They granted him to learn to fly any craft he wanted so he chose the X-Wing. Now all he needs is a squad to fly with.

Pilot HIstory: Was a TIE pilot but has deserted and is now an ace X-Wing pilot
Personalityon seems to keep to him self. He is a little paranoid but if he knows you(or you get to know him) then he trust you and that trust can not be broken.
Physical features: 5'10'' and 190lbs. This guy is all muscle. He has black hair(kept neet) tan skin. He has a tatto on his left arm that reads- IMPERIAL TIE DEFENDER SQUAD- and below that he has- #tk38u7- but you can see they are both crossed out
Flying prefrence: Hevey modefied lasers

IC: The tall dark figure walks to the bar and calls the bartender "I'll have some lum, make it strong" and he flips him a credit.

 

OOC: Allright, we now have four members. When we get all twelve positions filled, we shall begin training.

Name: Gabriel (Gabe) Flispa
Biography: Brought up on Tatooine, his father was a cargo pilot and his mother sometimes flew T16 skyhoppers to check the deserts for moisture and other vital things. As such, Gabe was brought up in a strong element of flying. He won almost every race back on Tatooine, and he enlisted in the Rebellion at age 21. He now hopes to help the Rebellion finish off the Empire with his excellent piloting skills.

Jedi Powers(pleas keep these to a minimum): A tiny bit, as his father was friends with a few Jedi Knights from his cargo missions.
Flying History: Many races in Skyhoppers back on Tatooine, and a year's worth of experience in the rebellion
Personality Traits:Nice to others, Loyal, a bit naive, and very shy. Likes to be alone and think sometimes.
Physical Features: Straight black hair that is neatly cropped, about 6'3", blue eyes, tanned skin. Somewhat muscular, but not a lot.
Flight Preferences: Are you a hotshot? Born leader? Combat analysist? Born leader, as he is loyal, and will look after his friends. He also has a knack for figuring out the best ways to approach things.

 

All right, we have half a squadron. Now we can begin some informal training. This training will not go against your actual scores but it will be much valuable experience for those who joined early. So everyone introduce your characters into the RPG, and I will direct you from there.

 

Scythe came into the room and walked over to the bar

"Lomin-ale please."

 

"Not a problem mac.."

*makes up the drink and swirls to perfection*

"There ya go, so tell me, how long until you guys get started?"

 

Gabe kicked the door open, as he was feeling good about being in a new squadron.

"Blue milk, my excellent bartending friend."

 

"Peetre Joens my friend how did you end up here after all this time?" Asked Mark as he leaned on the counter.

 

Peetre turned at the voice.

"Hey Mark. I'm the commander of this squadron. I'm starting it from scratch. We'll send the first four recruits into the simulators in a little bit. As for now I'm afraid I have to run and pick out a mission. I'll fill you in a little later."

 

Biography: A pilot, who lives on the busy world of Coruscant.

Flying History: I took a few lessons from a Jedi master, Saesee Tiin. Then later mastered the technique.

Personality Traits: A great friend, and a powerful ally.

Physical Features: 6 feet tall, 160 pounds. Good looking for a pilot.

Flight Preferences: Are you a hotshot? Born leader? Combat analysist?

I am a Combat analysist.
