Just joined the JC and hope to make some fellow Jedi friends. Been a long time fan of all things Star Wars (and anything Lucasfilm too) since first seeing A New Hope in 1978 (Showing my age)

Welcome! I saw ANH in 1977 when I was...well, in my teens...that's really showing my age.

Hi JediJoe. Can I assume by the title of this thread that you are from the great Bratwurst Capital of the World? If so, I am also and have been a fan since seeing ANH in 1977 as a young teenager. Welcome from another City of Chairs fan. Did you live there your whole life?

 

No. I grew up in New York. Have lived in WI since August of 97, and moved back to Sheboygan last year.

 

That's cool. At least you picked a good place to live now. Not as exciting as out east but still pretty good. Could do better on the movie scene but okay.

 

Where did you live between 1998 and 2002?

Hello Jediracer, it is nice to hear from our Fondulac neighbors. I have a friend who just moved to Lomira but I haven't figured out exactly where that is yet. Obviously I live a very sheltered life. It is good to see that the fans on theforce.net are showing up outside the Milwaukee area. If you have ever been on the Green Bay site you know how dead it is there.

 

I saw how dead the Green Bay board is so I decided this is next closest.

I decided to visit this wretched hive of scum and villiany because I got bored lurking in the lit forum. I rarely posted there because quite frankly, it's addicting, and I don't have hours to spend there (as much as I would like to). One quick post is never enough to discuss the novels.

Lomira is only about 10 miles south of Fond du Lac on Hwy 41. I drive through there often when I take the scenic route to Waupun where I grew up.
