Greetings to my fellow STAR WARS Fans in France. My name is Dave, and Im now living in Pittsburgh, USA. I apologize for not being able to write in French. My study in school taught me spanish and latin only. ;-) However, I hope some of you will still be able to read my post. Perhaps a kind frenchman would even translate my post in a follow-up reply for all to read. I just heard about your fabulous STAR WARS REUNION convention. I just returned from our own CELEBRATION III party one week ago, and Im happy and excited about the new (and last) STAR WARS movie about to be released. I am a member of the PENNSYLVANIA STAR WARS COLLECTORS SOCIETY (www.pswcs.com), and am interested in organizing a trade with someone in Paris who will be attending the REUNION convention. I like to collect the international exclusive toys, and I see the special chance here to do some trading in the spirit of good will and cross-cultural generosity. I am hoping to find someone there, in Paris, who can get me one T-shirt, and one of the exclusive ANAKIN action figures from the REUNION show. And in return, I have plenty of extras of the US Celebration-3 exclusive DARTH VADER action figures, and posters/hats/ and many other CIII exclusives to offer. I am a dedicated collector, and I would display it proudly in my own home. I might add, that I also have extras of the several hasbro toy premier exclusives (holo Yoda, lava vader, and I can get an extra Earlybird set) if such things interest either of you. I dont know if these were made available in the EU.
Thanks to Redlord, We have solidified a deal, and a huge box of american exclusive toys is now on its way over to France. Redlord will soon have a nice display for everyone to admire. I am happy to report that this deal has concluded, and it has been GREAT SUCCESS ! Redlord received his package from me, and he placed the REUNION items back in the same box, and mailed it back to me. I just received them yesterday. (June 7th) I would like to thank Erik (Redlord) for taking a chance on me, and for purchasing the shirt and toys for me up front. Not only did he make ME very happy, but after hearing that he wanted MANY of our new US exclusives, He offered several more REUNION ANAKINs for fellow members of my club (PSWCS - the Pennsylvania Star Wars Collectors Society). So, THREE more of my best friends will are also excited to be receiving one of the exclusive REUNION toys too. We all wish to thank Erik, and FFF, for taking a chance on us... for spending many extra Euros on only a promise, and for being an honourable representative to our collective hobby. I also hope that this success translates into future successes for both PSWCS and FFF for a long time in the future.
