Do we think he's one of the names on that character list? I could totally see Grunberg playing a rebel named Brance.

Looks like he'll be one of Poe's X-Wing pilots, though the 7 weeks shoot is a bit interesting seeing as its described as a cameo. But the Mark filmed for anything from a week to a few months and he's supposed to be in only about 5 seconds at the end

edit: I'm going to gout on a limb a say he's going to be the son of Airen Cracken.

If he is indeed the owner of the Falcon, I can imagine that being a funny bait & switch. They get into the Falcon, with the audience expecting to see Chewie and Han in the cockpit and instead, it's just some random guy.

 

He's probably an X-Wing pilot named Gorwyn and this SW7N thing is way off base.

SW7N gives the consistent vibe of folks who make up semi-plausible scenarios and report them as rumors.

 

I like the idea of a new Wedge. Just pure speculation, but if Poe is a hotshot maybe Gorwyn is his Iceman. Poe in the black X-Wing, Gorwyn in the blue one.

 

There's more than one white/blue X-Wing though. In fact they all look to be white/blue apart from Poe's new fighter.

 

I'm still not sure when Poe is flying is black and red fighter?

We don't seem to have seen it in any of the X-wing shots so far. I'm guessing those are shots used out of sequence for the teasers?

 

I doubt we'll see it fly in this movie.
