Taking the on-line driver course to reduce my insurance costs. Never-ending..... It really DOES take 6 hours.
So I purchased a Harmony remote when I bought my new tv and entertainment system in the summer. It has not worked right since I first booted it up. I have been trying to reset it but it will not reset. GRRRR...... I should add I have used Harmony remotes for years and LOVE them- of course this time I bought "the cheap one" and know I have to spend more money getting a better one. GRRR.... (again) ......
Got shorted something fierce on my paycheck last week. 2 health insurance providers tallied out instead of 1. Me, a computer guy gets bitten by a computer bug, how ironic.
I had to perform surgery on my theater projector to change the bulb. Always nerve wrecking but at least it?s working again. I didn?t want to have to buy a new projector.
I am so tired of miserable people who's lives are so crappy that they feel the need to make everyone else feel bad just so they can feel better about their pathetic existance. These are the people who suck the fun out of anything good and decent and drive people away with their bad cheese. Please go roam somewhere else or find another fandom to ruin! Hint: High School was a long time ago... Go ahead and put yourself out of our collective misery!
One of my uncles passed away last night. Extra depressing to have to attend a funeral the day before Thanksgiving.
So it was decided today the office will be open the morning of Dec 24th when up until now, it was closed. But no one knows who is working... and it's Dec 6th. See previous post. I may be looking for a job soon.
Why don't students realize than when they ask a clueless/lazy question it makes them look like a clueless/lazy student!! Would it look bad if I have a stock e-mail reply to students? Probably, but I'm still tempted. This is what it would look like: Student question: Where do I find the answer to that question? The correct answers (they only need to figure out one of these and they'll get it right): a) in the book for the course b) in your notes from lecture c) on the review sheet d) in any number of sites on the internet e) in any of the hundreds of books on this subject in the library Their third exam is tomorrow and I have literally answered over a dozen e-mails with that basic question today. I love my job but I hate this time of year.
Then they get to the work force and get handed a nice new laptop, iPhone, iPad and a support phone number. After that, I get to answer the very same questions. On a daily basis. In some cases, from the same person. Here, try this: http://lmgtfy.com/?q=how to find the answer I'm looking for Jon
