Group Costume Project....Red Shirts for Starfest!

so how long does it take to fix the shirts? and what day are we thinking for a sewing pow wow?

my vote is for tuesday or wednesday

 

Where?

 

It takes about on hour, to an hour 1/2.

 

The coloring of the neck takes the most time. If I have time I can start taking the cuffs off when I watch TV, but I'm very, very busy this week so I'm not sure how much time I will have.

Trim, we are running short on that. 5 have been done already, I need to do one more & there is enough for 3 more or so, that leaves us w/ 1/2 needed trim still. If anyone that is planning on coming to the sweat shop can pick some up, that would be great.

Oh, I also have the patches.

i am sorry i should have been more specific. do you have any pictures of what you have gotten done so far.

 

We haven't 'damaged' them yet. We have a concert to go to tonight so the earliest we would be able to get a picture up would be tomorrow night, if I do anything with them?

If the 'sweat shop' is going to be at my house then I need to clean it up some.

 

This week is full for me, so I won't be able to make it to any sweat shop Depending on when and where it is I might be able to stop by and pick up Scott and I's shirts, otherwise I'll have to come up with another time... which... thinking of my schedule.. probably won't be easy lol.

I'll wait till the details are hashed on the sweat shop and then probably toss a PM or two around to see what I need to do to pick them up. Oh and I'll paypal funds tomorrow when my paycheck hits the bank.

 

Wednesday would be a good night for me to come help fix up my shirts. Is that good for others?

 

Wednesday would be ok, but I would prefer Tuesday since they're expecting snow on Wed and I don't want to get stranded, nor do I want it to take forever to drive home.

one red shirt is 90% done, just needs the hem, sleeves hemmed, and collar and patch attached, really only took me about 1 1/2 hours to sew it...so if I do one a night, I should be done by starfest.

And as always, ZOOstar will be there when you get lost and start off in the wrong direction.... Unless of course it's DH with his vaseline, in which case I say let the boy play. It keeps him out of trouble, and the extra money from the side show is paying for more than his petroleum jelly habit. Where do you think he got the $50K?

I'll need to drop by and pick ours up. We have dinner with my grandma at 6, but I've told Scott we need to run up and get em afterwards. I expect it'll be... around 8 or 8:30? Not too late I hope? If that won't work.. I'll just have to get ours at Starfest cause Thursday is completely booked with no spare time. The only good thing about Scott not having quit smoking yet is that he'll have a lighter with him... mmmmm... FIRE!
