Had a couple more ideas. Keep in mind these are just rough sketches to show the idea. Brandon I'm thinking if ya free hand these they'd look cooler.

I like the idea with the state background and the t-visor....very nice idea!

 

I've had alot of fun doing all this. I can't wait to see the final results. Maybe we should do a final vote on line after we narrow them down. Then it would be completely anonymous. Perhaps have the spouses do a blind vote as well, so that we all don't just vote for our own ideas...not that we'd do that...

 

I think we have a good selection of ideas to choose from, so much so that it may be hard to narrow down to a single selection!

I have desided this will be the last month / meeting to turn in your ideas for our logo. I'll be working with Brandon & Andy though the rest of the month. So that at the July meeting we will have the finalist.

We will than have one month to vote / deside on one you all like the best. We will at that time have a polling vote either on line or in person. For the WINNER!

I feel this is a good time frame to get this done. It will give us the time need to get ready for SMF. as far as signage, Banners, ect. So.... lets get them in folks. We will be going with whatever we have after the meeting.

This does not mean we can not go back down the road and look at other idea for future logos. We just need to get one done NOW! If not we have nothing going into SMF. or any other show / Cons for the matter. So get busy....

I second that. We narrowed the field once already in April and decided on some revisions at that point. I do appreciate all the creative input but we need to move forward at this point. I suggest we narrow it to 3 ideas on Sunday, with minor suggestions for revision/combining ideas and have finalists in July as TK suggested. Ralph would really like us tohave a meeting at his shop if we can agree on a date and time. Anyone care to set up a poll for the meeting date?

I'll set up a post for the meeting right now. I'm going with all the Sunday's for the next month. Sunday's seem to work best for eveyone . It is all so the best day for me. lol

Because of some difficulties getting hard copies in hand to show folks today because of Brandon's run in with Big Brother and Andy not making the meeting. SO, please get your ideas posted online for everyone to comment on and so we can begin narrowing down the ideas. If we are going to move on potential big group events in August and September, we need an image or logo to help our identity as a group. So, Anyd, TK, John, and Brandon, and whoever else has hard copies of some off this stuff, please get it scanned, uploaded, or cut and pasted on here so we can all have some input. Thanks! Keep up the good work!

If we are, I'm thinking maybe we could replace the '7' image with an outline of the Old Man? What do you think?

 

I think that the Old Man profile will end up looking like NH sillhouette. If it is changed to anything, it should have some silmilarites to the original. Such as a number or letters...

 

Embroidering the logo is out, at least having it done cheaply by my aunt. She doesn't handle digital files and says to have an image converted to the correct file type costs $100 or more -- and that's only to get the file!

 

There are 2 there I like.

1 more I like it just needs some work.

There is also another one I like that me and Brandon had been working on. That has been coming a long while. Problem is that is is in Brandon truck. Which we can not get to for other weee. I'll post the 3 I like from this page later.

I wish to look then over again. Andy can you please send me over a couple of these pictures in a n email file. I'd like to print them out full size and take a better look at them. Just a few things I'd like to see changed on one or two of them. Maybe some differant colors. Thanks.

I'll post my working up this weekend sometime. Most likely Sunday.

Any progress on posting a poll for the logo? We will need to order skirt and other printed material for the Clone Wars dinners. printers need a week or 2 of print time for bigger items. TK, have you narrowed it down and set up the poll?

There's a couple I really really love here:

The second from the top is my first pick due to simplicity in style. Very easy to reproduce as a patch, sticker, etc.
My second pick is the next one down.I like the Man of the Mountain and the Mandalorian helm back to back like that!

There are several others I love, but these are my two top picks!

Just wanted to say thanks to Andy as well for the hard work on the logo. It looks great and was finished in time to be on all the info about the upcoming movie night. Now we just need to get to work on shirts and maybe some durable, re-useable, large laminated prints for when we go to conventions, events, etc...

I'd love to see us having a banner ready for SMF! That would be cool. I know ac ouple places to have them done up as well. I also believe there is someone in the NEG That can have them made up for us as well. I'll have to check into it.
