Grunting Obi

How come during The duel with Maul Obi-Wan grunts before( out of nowhere) he jumps?
I hate to say it, but it makes Episode I Cheezy.

 

As is the rest of the saga

 

Actually, he grunts when he fakes a saber swing and then Qui-Gon swings instead.
And, like Baucon said, Star Wars IS cheesy.

Maybe Obi-wan has a crush on Ms Piggy and it was his secret little way of letting her know?

 

That grunt signified the sound of The Phantom Menace raping everyones childhoods

Obi_Frans try to avoid that particular phrase. It is a crude and insensitive use of the word rape.

I call people on it every time I see it. And the Mod Squad as a whole decided to discourage its use.

Yep, that grunt totally ruins the whole movie for me. In fact, I will never watch Star Wars again and I hate it with all of my being now. If you haven't noticed, I am being sarcastic. Sorry, but one second in an entire movie doesn't make it cheesey, but the other 4,000 seconds
