Wash, DC GS icon Discusion thread

Do'h!!!! I guess I neeeded more caffeine that day. Very interesting examples. I don't think I'll have enough time for something that fancy but if there is a second round or update next year I might give it a try.

Here are 6 iterations based on feedback:

I still have to fiddle with the font color to make it a bit more visible in a few icons. Hopefully I'll have time next week to work a bit more on them.

for my submitted icons, you need to drag the link to the address bar otherwise you'll get a page not found error.

However, DJK has mispelled one of the links (or I did in the original post). Icon 3 should have this link

Thank you Malkie! I can see the first few when I drag them but when I drag the other ones I get page cannot be displayed.

I don't know what to tell you. they were working fine last week.

Try going to thier original posts. when you vote. tell me the icon number, who made it, and the date on the post. Hopefully ythat will work

 

Ok, I will do that.

 

The problem is that on your grand list Kam you have a typo for all my icons. The address starts with www.hjford.com, but you substituted the J for an I, so it's hiford in your links instead of hjford. Can you as an admin reedit the post?

BTW I was out of an Internet connection during the weekend, we moved to a new building but all is OK now.

Ok, I like Malkie's Whitehouse icon best. I think it is icon 3.

Maybe you should just have the vote at the meeting. A lot of people probably don't check this thread since it's labeled the icon discussion thread... If you do it at the meeting, then people have to vote.
