Edo sits down, and clears her mind. The miraluka works to extend her line of sight, drawing on the force. She gasps, attempting to siphon all of her power to the sense. "I sense people familiar... That way. But something's not right..."
Edo starts walking, slowly but steadily, inspecting her knapsack once more. "I'm not sure if we can get there before it gets dark, but the danger might be greater if we stay with the visions..." She shudders. "And I'm not sure how much I can utilize the force after that search."

Her unspoken words were, Don't leave me behind, because she knew he wouldn't. She just didn't want Varian to throw caution to the wind and run into another problem.

I stop and turn around
"fair enough, but it is already getting darker and if there IS problem then this may be our only chance. I lost enough of my family already, I......I don't feel like losing any more. What do you think we should do? We have about under an hour till it gets completely dark and the monsters start coming out. Patience is something I need to work on but we do have a judgment call to make, though I won't run off again sorry 'bout that"

Illum Cave Entrance

Footsteps grew louder from the place where the Knights stood. "Someone is coming," Koji announced. Bonaventure smiled and equipped his newly crafted light weapon and expressed it along with his lightsaber. With a smile, he spoke sternly, "Hello, what do we have here?" Fritz stared at the blazing weapon with a leery eye. Ven continued, "I just invented this, and I haven't found out what it does to flesh. Anyone want to test it for me? Drop your weapons, and you won't die... today."

Captain Shank hesitated before speaking, "Is this Ilum?" he forced a chuckle that sounded both fake and half-hearted. "Cuz I thought I was on Hoth for some reason. My mistake Jedi Masters. I guess I'll just be going now." Koji calmly stepped in the way of the man, blocking his exit when he noticed a small green glow flickering from a pocket beneath the pirate's overcoat. "Uh huh. Well sir I'm afraid we can't let you leave just yet."

"Oh come on! I'm just a weary explorer trying to find my way in this igloo!" Koji ignored the lie, "The stone within your pocket, I have reason to believe that belongs to my friend here." Koji motioned Silent to come over and retrieve the hidden gem. "Ugh, fine! If I give you the crystal will you let me go??"

IC- Keskor Vunn
Ilum Caves

Keskor made the jump...
Only Just, he almost fell into the ravine, but he managed to grab the edge of the ledge, scrabbling up onto the ledge he heard his master in his head. something was happening which means there not that much time left. Keskor went through another tunnel, looking for his crystal, as he peered around the tunnel when he saw someone, was it even a person? was it.... Keskor? Only he, well, me, Keskor thought, was all in black. wait, Keskor took a few steps back.
No.... Please...
Crack!
The Ice broke, and Keskor slid into blackness, falling... Falling...
"Oof!"
Keskor hit solid ice, Man, That hurt. Keksor was dazed. But Where was he now? He was in a large cave, most of it was empty, and the ceiling went up quite high, Keskor looked around again. There it was, Keskor's Dark Version, Sith Version, was it his definite future? Or just one of his many paths of the future... he watched it as it ignited a crimson Lightsaber that was a curved hilt variant.
"No!!!"
Keskor dodged a swipe as his Sith Version Attacked him.
"You will... Not... Take Me!"
The Keskor Sith Version stopped, looked at Keskor, and then began to change, into his friends, his master, all dead, each one, decaying... Lifeless... Dead.
"You are not REAL!"
Keskor heard the words echo around the cave as it began to shudder, then, the illusion, it disappeared...
Keskor looked down, and he saw it, a shard of ice, wedged into his chest...
"No..."
Keskor was exhausted.
"No"
He collapsed

Keskor woke up.
Pain.
Lots of it.
He looked down, he saw his blood swimming across the floor as it poured out of his chest, he looked at the wound, the ice seemed to have melted, but there was something left, an amber crystal. He pulled it out of the wound, a lot more pain. But he had got it. He wiped his blood off the crystal and tried to stand up. Pain!
He called out for help, in the force and with his voice.
"Help!"
Wait, that could call whatever his master warned him about. He reached out in the force.
Master, I am wounded, I need help.
He called out to the other padawans as well. But did they even know he was here?
There was only one thing with Keskor...
The Force.

 

OOC: Sorry for my recent inactivity, I am performing in the Edinburgh International Festival in August and the rehearsals for that just started so my free time has become limited. Shameless self promotion aside, I ought to have a new post up tomorrow.

IC: Padawan Silent
Ice Caves, Ilum

I step forward to my Master and Fritz and eye the green crystal patiently. "It was more like an attempt to steal Master. That doesn't mean we should let him get away with it, but he didn't make it off planet either." I look at Skyla. "Thanks for coming back for me." I tell her before turning back to The Vanguard. "Master, we should take him back to the ship."

"You're welcome. It seems as if you could've handled him by yourself. I agree with you. We shouldn't just let him go." I turn to back to my Master. "Master? I can sense someone calling out to me with the Force!" I look back at the other Padawans. "Do you guys sense it too?

"I'm not sure where it came from." I say as I shut my eyes. I say again, "Did anyone else feel that?"

Ilum Cave Entrance

It had been several hours since the Jedi had arrived for the gathering, and much had happened in the way of exploration and discovery. Many differing trials were to be expected during one's quest to find his or her kyber crystal, but encountering pirates had been a first. A first that he had heard of anyway..

"Master, we should take him back to the ship." padawan Silent recommended. Koji fixed his gaze on the pirate, "What are you called?" he asked firmly. Fritz looked Koji up and down before answering, "Shank. Captain, Shank."

"Well Captain, it seems you have been relieved of duty." Each word was led by a small cloud of warm breath on the icy air. "We will take you to the nearest port on our way out of the system. From there you can continue on your way." "What if I say no?" Fritz asked belligerently. Koji cracked a half smile, "the ship you rode in on has departed. If you wish you stay, you will perish from hypothermia or by one of the cave creatures, whichever comes first." The captain glared at the Jedi, his eyes glowing with anger. "The choice is yours, Fritz."

"How did you know my name?!" Fritz snapped. "Did Lolo talk?! I swear when I see that womp rat I'm gonna-"
"Make your decision Captain."
"Ugh, FINE! Get me off this planet."
"Very well, my colleague will escort you onto the ship." Looking to Silent he continued, "You know what to do, keep an eye on him."

Keskor senses someone in the force
"Can you hear me? Who are you?"
Keksor reaches out in the force.
"I am Keskor Vunn, Padawan of Semajj Nosrep, I am losing blood fast, please help!"
Skyla Skywalker

 

I reach out again with the Force. "I'm coming for you!" I open my eyes and turn to my Master. "It's Keskor Vunn! He said he is losing blood fast! I'm going back to help him!"

Thane urgently tunes to Skyla and says "You're not going alone, I'll join you, we must hurry!"

"Let's go! We can't just let him die!" I say as I run towards the cave. I glance back once to see if Thane is still following me. I reach out with the Force once more. "Do you know where you are?" I ask Keskor through the Force. "We're on our way!"

 

"There is a ravine beyond the right tunnel as you enter! Jump across it and there is a hole in the ice as you continue, that is were I am, I warn you, it's quite a drop!"

 

IC: Varian Aldor

"Hey you feeling well enough to move onward Edo?" I ask growing worried at the growing darkness of the caves.

As they walk, Edo asks, "Did you find a crystal?" She wants to distract herself from the idea that she might have sensed wrong.
