It's snowing where I live as well. It was dry a week ago, and now the ground is covered in a white blanket.

About 72 F down here... after the cold front. Oh well. At least I can wear a jacket or sweater at night.

 

We had some snow as well in the last days,though sadly most of it melted away again today when it became a few degrees warmer.

Eh, been to the North Pole a couple times. Nice enough place, not nearly enough to do. Seeing Santa's front shop and the igloo was nice though.

It progresses surely, if a bit slowly. I think we've all had DRL stuff - I had something unexpected come up (Christmas came early and my hsuband and I roadtripped to pick up a puppy!!!), but I'm back now, albeit with 80% less sleep... feels like we have a newborn child with the constant care and the sleepless nights!

The history of our Order has not always been an easy one. It has seen schisms, feuds, periods of stagnation due to inactivity, and treachery with some of our former prominent members ending up abandoning the Order and fully embracing the dark side of the Force. The current incarnation of our Order, the Guardians of Light was established in August 2008 by former Grand Master Teegirloo after she felt the previous Order, the Galactic Defenders no longer lived up to the spirit of its founding. ~*~ The Jedi Order - Guardians of Light ~*~ Jedi Swan and Allegra were the only remaining members of the original GD left. Under the Grand Master's leadership, the Jedi Order was rebuilt and transformed into the one we know today. Notably, our now retired GM CPL_Macja joined the Order during this period of transition. After Grand Master Teegirloo decided to retire, Kev-Mas_Colcha assumed leadership. Sinrebirth, a prominent member who shared allegiances between our Order and the Sith was promoted to High Master (probably not the wisest idea ). Our esteemed Jedi Master Adalia-Durron makes her first appearance seeking to establish an alliance between the New Jedi Order, Twin Suns, and X-Wing fan clubs and the Guardians of Light against the self-declared Emperor Sinrebirth and after some deliberating decides to join our Order.. ~*~ The Jedi Order - Guardians of Light ~*~
Could the Jedi exist?
I found the concept of aether or the fifth element, that some ancient Greek scholars and philosophers and 17th century scientists like Isaac Newton speculated about to be the most fascinating. I also found it interesting and quite alarming to hear that these powers are within our grasp with the advancement of technology. That brain hacking part was disturbing and it makes one wonder what would happen if such technology were to fall into the wrong hands.
Favorite Christmas Special:
I grew up with The Grinch and Charlie Brown Christmas specials. As a child of the 90s, Home Alone and the remake of Miracle On 34th Street were my go-to Christmas movies. Those films always make me feel warm and nostalgic.

 

I could be wrong but I recall seeing Adalia-Durron a few times in one of the old Galactic Defenders threads. She wasn't part of the order, but I think it was during her stint as a Sith.
But that is a rather obscure bit of information that is easily missed. Otherwise I'd say a very well done post Blade Of Kenobi
