You can check it out from the library or on-line sellers like Amazon and Ebay have The Jedi Path at easy prices. There is a kindle version that I use for easy reference.

Yeah, I'll get from the library, but I think it'd be cool to buy the book and write in my own notes

You could probably get The Jedi Path for ten U.S. dollars or less if you were based in the United States. In Scotland, it should be close to that.

Are you on the English Pound (GBP) there? What currency is Scotland using?

I think Scotland uses British Pound as well since the country is a part of the UK. :)

Looks like Scotland is on GBP but prints its own version of GBP.

We'd best be careful with these sorts of comments - he's younger than both of us! :p

    Hello: :D I want to submit an initiate task for @ThisIsMe1138 @teamhansolo & @TheRynJedi

    Teaching/Mentoring Styles

Please pick your favorite Jedi of Legends or new canon, any era and submit why their teaching style would mesh with your learning style: flexible versus structured, etc.

Also, how much would you want or need to concentrate on Jedi lore or history versus learning by doing? How would you balance both facets?

This task sprang to mind due to a discussion about how the Jedi could have outplayed Palpatine. @};-

    @teamhansolo @TheRynJedi

Both of you have earned 3 force points for completing the Three Pillars of the Jedi task. The bonus questions are there for further reflection should you decide.

Since @WarmNyota_SweetAyesha has a task prepared, I turn the floor over to her.

    Points for these Initiates @Bardan_Jusik
3 points each for the two Initiates

    Bonus question:

We should agree that Force sensitivity without discipline can definitely be dangerous. While it is possible that without training, a being’s Force sensitivity never develops into more than basic awareness, there is also the possibility that the sensitivity can develop to full-blown powers that the being is unable to control, or, worse learns to control in negative ways. The Jedi Order does have a responsibility to make sure that Force sensitive children are given the tools and training to control their abilities and use them responsibly. Since we are the only ones who have the knowledge and experience to train Force-sensitive children, we have a responsibility to provide that training.

    ---

    Teaching/Mentoring Styles

Not to sound like I’m repeating myself, but Qui-Gon Jinn would be the one I would choose. His style of living in the moment, of learning from what you’re doing, and learning from the beings that you meet, would fit well with my style of learning. There is also much to be learned from history and lore, so I would balance both by reading and exploring something in the Archives, and then going out and seeing or doing something that further explored or expanded on that topic. Doing something that brought that lore or history to the present day, or brought it to life would help make the knowledge more useful.
