I concur; A, OF THE and The cannot be used! I wish people would start thinking a little before they post a title.


I came up with "Rise of AN Empire". It fits with the rest of the titles. It starts with an R like ROTJ and it does not have Of THE in it. It is also 4 words long. The only thing that does not work well is Empire.

UH, I bet it'll have an "of the" in it.

I'm thinking it'll begin with "A" (seriously). Those choices are still valid.

 

Epi III: Darkness in the Republic or A Republic in Despair
Epi IV: A New Hope

 

True...the OF THE titles are redundant(Like my first reply was made...Betrayal of the Force)

but I believe the word force will be in it for some reason.

who knows what george will make the title?

you know those death sticks? i bet that is why george changed the title of ep II. that guy never made it home. he went to george's place instead. i guess george wasn't strong enough with the force.

 

As I've said before, I think it might be:


A Sith Revealed

or

The Sith Revealed


This could mean Palpatine is revealed, Sidious is revealed, or even Anakin is revealed as Vader.

Probably though, GL will pick a title that is impossible to predict, and one that will have us all stunned with disbelief when we hear it sometime in late 2004.

It fits the criteria It starts with an R it does not have OF THE in it and SITH is a counterpoint to JEDI

 

Very true indeed. I hadn't thought of that variation, but it sounds good.

one thing: everybody who thinks that the prophesy is lost isn't looking at the bigger picture. Sure, Anakin Himself didn't fulfill it, but technically, if he had not been trained, he and padme would never have met again, thus wouldn't have fooled around, and had luke, who does bring balance by reverting vader and finishing the sith. Other than that no "of the"s or lost prophesies. great ideas otherwise!!!

I'm still thinking about Revenge of the Sith or something similar.

 

I still say the whole PT should be named to parallel the OT, only backwards...

EP I: A New Menace
EP II: The Republic Strikes back
EP III: Return of the Sith

OK, maybe not. But, strangely enough, it does fit.

 

Only one it can be IMHO.

Its what Anakin will become and is a perfect opposite to Return of the Jedi.
