The Beta is supposed to be announced later this month (I expect January to be more likely now though)


Just need a release date now.

 

This stuff looks great. I am nervous to be honest, I know I will like it I just hope I like it more than the original GW. I am I am hoping I can have my dream computer done before it is released.

 

According to recent dispatches from Arenanet the closed Beta is nigh on complete with the open media/journalist beta due in February.

Public beta is due in March


Unofficial rumours have June/July this year as potential launch months



This is so looking like a day one purchase for me!

 

Oh, I have to sign up for beta for this. I just love Guild Wars.

 

I've answered a few surveys from Arenanet since the start of the year and I'm hoping my feedback has added me to the choices to use in the Beta as I really want to get hold of this game.

 

Public beta is set to be March/April.

This is quite exciting news indeed! I can't wait. I really hope this is true and it is out this summer. I will schedule time off work to dive into this baby.

It's all sounding very good, there appear to still be a few bugs here and there but thats understandable.
Sylvari and Asura characters not yet beta tested in this run.

I'll give this a go, doubtful I get selected but who knows?

 

I think it would be sweet if we all got selected. But with how fast the servers were crashing when the beta opened this afternoon, I doubt it.

 

I thought this signup was for the Spring beta, like April/May? Or are you just saying there is another one going on with crashy mcbugs a lot currently going on?

 

There are going to be regular weekends with more and more people added to it in the build up.



The last beta was reasonably bug free according to the press releases so so far so good.

 

I was just meaning the sign up process lol.

 

So does anyone have any updates on getting in? I finished buying my new computer components today so with any luck I am gonna have it up and running before the end of the month.
