JCC guise this is the toughest decision i'll ever have to make

i'm picking up a puppy on dec 18th. weee puppy, etc.
only.. there's three of them. and i can't have them all

What, exactly, is so hard to choose?

They're all identical as far as I can see from observation.

 

i'm thinking of just sitting down and see who comes to me first.
but if they all jump me i'm taking all of them home

Aw, those puppies are so cute. Honestly, I would be next to useless in a decision such as this, as I'd probably end up taking all of them home with me if presented with a similar situation, ha-ha. Mum and Dad would be none too thrilled.

normally i would be all about hitler dogs, but i have to agree with jello. skeptical hourglass puppy melts my heart.

Okay, I changed my mind. I have fallen in love with puppy #4.

 

Sit down and see which one comes to you. Then make sure he/she looks healthy (clear eyes, no discharge from ears/eyes, not too thin, no coughing/sneezing, etc). If you are buying the puppy make sure you'll get a refund if a vet examines it and finds any nasty issues. And if the pup hasn't had its shots yet get the vet to advise you on that as well. (Don't wait too long to get it checked out.)

 

Well, we all know how to settle this...

 

Puppy #4 is pretty damn cute, but you should probably save your money and rescue a dog instead.

i would rescue a dog. i looked it up at all agencies i could find and private people putting out ads on their owm dogs, but the problem is that there are no dogs that will go along with my other dog (who was kind of a rescue). she's terrified of dogs bigger than herself, and males. plus she's old and i don't want to enforce a possibly troubled dog on her. she needs to be the leader dog to feel secure, so puppies are preferred.

but i will continue to look for rescue dogs in the meantime

 

They're all absurdly adorable. Take them all. Under your care the lil' Hitlers can become heroes...or villains. Up to you.

Based on looks I'd probably go with the first one, but really the decision should rest on the animal's behaviour towards others and towards you. Ultimately they're all cute, so presuming they are all in good health and have all the required vaccinations the one that behaves the best (or whatever behaviour you judge to be the most agreeable) should be the one you take home.

 

Skeptical hourglass one. For starters, that cynicism will go well with you when you're nursing the puppy and posting on here. Two, remember the last time a Hitler happened to Europe? Yeah. So not that again.
