    I knew a lot of people from Marshall county. Its not enough to say that I hope everyone is dealing with this in the best way they can. One of the wounded was a special needs student.

    Absolutely disgusting.

    I know, I know; you support changes and it's again a terrible episode for your nation but I'm slowly becoming numb to one or two hit school killings these days.


    They've become common.

    School shooting at Uniontown High School in Pittsburgh was thwarted today, thanks to an alert and brave young man who heard something on the bus and called his parents.

    The individual planning the shooting was 14 years old, talking about his sniper rifles on the bus. Once they got to search the kid's home, they found mommy and daddy's stash - which I'm sure was locked up and secured, because they're totally responsible gun-loving psychopaths!

    Nope. They were in the kid's bedroom. All together, now:

    1 semi-automatic rifle
    1 shotgun
    2 lever-action rifles
    1 revolver
    1 crossbow
    Throwing Knives (!!!!)
    2 machetes
    and bulk ammunition for every single weapon. Except the throwing knives. Just need a big, muscley throwing arm for that.

    All of which were surely there to defend religious fraydom! God bless Murca.

    Great job by the kid and the authorities to prevent a horrific tragedy, though, srsly.

    Worrying every goddamn hour (no exaggeration) about whether I’m going to get a phone call that there is a shooting at one of my kids’ schools is so ****ing freeing.

    I don’t know how saner countries can function without this level of freedom.

    It's a day to day struggle knowing that the only thing I have to be concerned about with my kids is if they have detention or not when they're at school.

    I guess all we have to do is recruit every child into a national mass shooting surveillance program. That's not so bad.

    Only you can prevent school shootings, kids.
