Gungan Shields

    Whats the deal with them? Can they absorb ALL energy? Like, if a million droids shot at them, would it overheat or stay going? I know projecticles can pierce it, but constant fire from droids didnt phase it. what are its limits?

    I believe that it's weaker than the sheild on Hoth and wouldn't stand up to an orbital bombardment. However, it could easily stand up to what AAT's can throw at them.

    I believe you would have to ask the GunGan shield designer. He would propably tell you that they are BomBad tough.

    well, the kidn of shield it is, it looks like it would repel any energy, but zero projectile. I mean, like a mirror can reflect any bit of light, but not a rock.

    The real question is why doesn't anyone else use these things? Every Jedi and Clone/Stormtrooper should have one, at the very least. Then charging waves of droids on Geonosis might have actually made sense.
