http://www.usatoday.com/story/life/...ler-texas-chainsaw-massacre-dies-68/75409968/ There is no doubt that the Texas Chainsaw Massacre is an important film. Possibly one of the most effective horror movies of all time. That is in no small part due to the film's legendary monster, Leatherface. Gunnar Hansen created one of the most frightening and disturbed villains to grace the big screen. Despite being seen by millions, he's only occasionally returned to the big screen, being well-versed as a writer as well. Truly a genuine guy in real life, though. He was always happy to share his memories. It's amazing that despite the low budget nature of the film, Gunnar really outdid himself with the creation of Leatherface. R.I.P.
