Well yes, Axl may not agree with their selection of soft drinks back stage and crack a tantrum. Until then, ROCK!

 

What with all the people using cell phones to take videos at concerts these days, Axl is going to be too busy attacking audience members to do any actual singing.

Seriously, though, I loved Appetite For Destruction, and I thought the Use Your Illusions were pretty good. I never saw them in concert, though. I never listened to any of the post-breakup versions of the band (like Axl and all the guys who toured together and made Chinese Democracy).

 

Anything with the name GnR on it has been one of the world's highest earning tribute bands of all time...apart from The Australian Pink Floyd.

 

It might be on, but I'd still put money on it ending up an utter, utter trainwreck.

 

This is very possible. I'm sure Slash will be in fine form, but I don't see a change for Axl.

Even if Axl and Slash have set aside their differences, if Izzy's not on board, I'm not all that excited. I wouldn't be that much more excited if he was because I think the reunion ship sailed 10 years ago, but he was really the heart of the band despite taking a backseat to the more popular members.

 

I do find the GnR 3.0's lack of Izzy disturbing but I wouldn't call it a dealbreaker just because you get to see Slash do it again kicks it up a notch. Saw one of the Axl Rose only tours and it actually wasn't bad, he can still sing (although he had this weird habit of disappearing off stage and then running back on stage in time for the lyrics) and the songs are pretty darn great. Heck, even Chinese Democracy has a few good ones on there. (And I'm still stunned that Chinese Democracy actually came out, by the way)

what is a Cochella crowd nowadays anyway, it's a fairly diverse festival.

 

So a guy saw Axl Rose waiting for the valet at an Atlanta hotel this past Friday. He took a photo with him, and apparently got a tidbit from Rose that "a whole tour" is coming.

GUNS N' ROSES has six concerts scheduled so far, all in April: two at the Coachella Music And Arts Festival, two in Las Vegas and two in Mexico City. The exact band lineup has yet to be confirmed.

Guglielmo said he wished Rose good luck on those "few shows," but that the singer responded "thanks, man, but we're going to do a whole tour."
