    Really? I did not know that. While I rarely liked his politics, he struck me as a down to earth guy, even through all the corruption charges and such. Good to see he's got a life after Congress.

    Oh God I couldn't stand it for the whole thing. The awkwardness of it all was bad even for an awards show. Is it just me or were audience noises picked up by the mic more than usual?

    I honestly couldn't hear too much from the TV. I do remember agonizingly long speeches, practically everybody was being played off. It wasn't a terribly good program.
