Amph guys we need an Oscars thread

Entertainment Weekly had a whole write-up about Force Awakens awards prospects. No foolin', sounded somewhat legit speculation.

Having not seen the movie but let's for the sake of argument assume TFA "gawddamn fantastic" it might be the blockbuster that takes Mad Max's spot.... assuming The Academy suddenly realizes that "oh, yeah, we can use one of these slots for a good, populist blockbuster movie!" (Which is pretty much realized why the Best Picture was expanded to 10 was due to Dark Knight being passed on) But this is also assuming The Academy can realize, well, anything.
