ST Gwendoline Christie (Captain Phasma) in the ST

I don't get why they refuse to show her without her helmet. What is she hiding under there?

Well..

 

I still think it would have been better to cast Gwendoline Christie as an unmasked bad-side character instead of covering her up as a stormtrooper. Imagine her in General Hux's position. Would have been SO much better.

She looks so awesome, and in the visual as with everything in canon about her. Her loyalty is questionable, but she is a a amazing fighter. Do not let the lesser stormtrooper take her out here. Save it.

While Phasma VS Finn was great.. One of my favorite parts for sure!! Phasma is kinda a joke.. lol

I feel like the filmmakers don't really know what to do with her..

 

In the Phasma book she was always wearing her tribal mask before getting into a Stormtrooper helmet. She was always like that. There's no damage that she suffered.

 

They really wasted Phasma. I don't mean that in the sense that they killed her. Thats fine and dandy. Even her fight was pretty kick ass. It's just that that is literally her ONLY SCENE in the entire film. Why the hell is she nowhere to be seen? This time they don't have the excuse that Game of Thrones was filming, because TLJ shot when GoT was airing and on hiatus from filming. She's just not in the movie at all. I really don't get it. It's shocking that the best non-literary version of Phasma is the one from Lego Star Wars.

What was the point of having phasma? i don't feel like they knew what to do with her.

 

I SPENT 29 DOLLARS IN THE PHASMA BOOK, FOR NOTHING

 

She is only the movie because when they was doing the visual do Kylo, her visual apears, many liked, and put the movie, without a plan of what to do with her.

 

Should not have put any stock in the Phasma book and comics, both supposedly canon. She is pathetic, not even worth talking about.

 

Well. She used her screen time better than Boba in ROTJ.

 

For a short while there in that fight, I felt like she was General Grievous.
She just needed a few coughs and a growl of "Kenobi!".

 

They knew they were killing her off, thus why her Comic and novel came out before the movie.

She's pretty much there as a symbolic tie to Finn's past.

Kylo, Rey, Poe and Finn have grown up and surpassed their predecessors.

Kylo killed Snoke. Finn killed Phasma. Leia gave resistance leadership to Poe. Luke passes on the last Jedi to Rey.

 

They actually talk about it on the TFA Blu-ray. The Chrome Trooper was one of the original designs for Kylo Ren. KK saw the drawings and said that this character had to be in the movie. And that's kind of it.

 

I honestly think Phasma’s still alive. I really like her, but she needs a bigger role.

I'm calling it, Phasma will return in Episode IX and her shtick will be she always comes back. Plus, I full on expect her to abandon the First Order if they end up falling.

If I'm wrong, then fine. I'm already over her "death".

 

I wish she had more screen time. Phasma was a great character and i liked her more than Finn.
