ST Gwendoline Christie (Captain Phasma) in Episode VII

So Christie possibly kills two Jedi Padawans in her search for Finn and Rey...

I wonder if she's the only Chrome Trooper or there are more under her command?

 

Yes there are others. There's concept art out there that closely matches the description I got of her character way back when. The leaked photo is someone else, I suppose under her command.

This pretty much matches the description of Gwendoline's character I had from Skywalker 75:

If I am not mistaken, the first picture on the top left kind of looks like the chest plate is, well, protruding as if to house a female's bossom.(trying to be politically correct here)

 

Just say boobs. It sounds less silly. Anyway, it could be that these are three distinct chrometroopers who are not necessarily under each others command. I thought all the chrometroopers were more or less on even playing field, commanding the stormtroopers, and answering only to Kylo Ren.

 

She sounds like a really cool character. I got a feeling she will be her villain of the week and will get killed off before the end of the movie. I am okay with it as long as a couple key villains (Kylo, Uber making the most sense) stick around for all three movies.

 

I really want an inner power struggle between villains.

The rumor was the chrome trooper had a lightsaber. I'd love to see two villains kinda competing to be the main honcho.

 

as far as i know they are all the same character. never heard of any underlings with silver armor. just her and she can cloak.

 

There's definitely more than one Chrometrooper. Gwendoline's armour does look different from the above photo. Sorry but I'm not allowed to say how I know this.

That's nice, but unfortunately it doesn't seem that she does actually use a lightsaber.

I'd love to be proven wrong, though!

 

based on the rumors she seems to just be a chrome stormtrooper.
at this rate it seems like the only force sensitive villains are Uber and Kylo, as Phasma doesn't seem to use a saber the last I recall and the Seven Making said weren't special.

 

I hope they have legit lazer swords with flare outs near the hilt like they show here, the making of lightsaber video (like the green one that broke off in that one dude's hand, just not as flare like a jousting weapon) or in these pics:

 

yes they could have stormtroopers using lightsabers if they wanted to.

 

Man, that's a cool piece of art. I'd love to see a scene like this in Episode VIII; a squad of chrometroopers armed with lightsabers bursts into a room and just starts tearing rebel troops to shreds, and then Luke and Rey jump down and easily fend off the chrometroopers.

Jason knows that the SEVEN probably are special that's why he doubts the concept art portrays them and is more than likely some other characters. If the SEVEN do wipe out the CLAN and the CLAN are the Jedi Academy then it's probably a good guess that the SEVEN are some group of Bounty Hunters or suchlike with serious skills. And quite frankly why have one marketable bad guy when you can have SEVEN?

I'm a fan of more lightsabers but not a fan of lightsabers to non force sensitive.

 

that's dumb though. anyone can use a saber.

 

so people who complain that lightsabers should be rare that's not dumb but saying you only want to see force sensitive characters being permanent owners of a lightsaber that's dumb.

if you don't have anything nice to see then don't say it I was just stating my opinion and yes I know that anybody can use a saber but only a force sensitive can use it efficiently.

 

i'm saying gc should be a saber trooper because that would rule.
