Bloom, IN HA Meeting / Cookout June 14 @ My house

Because The Game Preserve was unable to accommodate due to prior obligations, I've volunteered my place as the next meeting / cookout location scheduled for Saturday, June 14. RSVP if you can with whatever you want to bring to graze on.

There will be wine and I'll take special requests if anyone has a favorite Oliver wine. There'll be a BBQ, but I am almost guaranteed to burn anything I put on there so if someone wants to take the reigns on cooking, that would be great. I have one indoor cat, but he hides anytime strangers come over. Also, bring any Blu-rays or HD-DVDs, PS3 or 360 games you might want to watch or play. Any and all standard definition DVDs, unless a Star Wars or LOTR film, will be shredded immediately. I keep a 100% technologically elitist household.

Anytime after 4 pm is good with me.

I would be more then happy to do the cooking Casey.

 

I will definitely be there barring any unforeseen catastrophes. Would my wife be able to attend as well?

I will be bringing some sort of vegetable dish (and veggie burgers if my wife is coming).
I will leave my movies at home for fear of an elitist shredding.

Bryan, sorry... your wife can't come. But she's more than welcome to wait in the car. Bring your DVDs because I have a portable standard definition DVD player she can watch while she waits.

Of course she can come! Anyone can bring whomever they please. There's lots of room.

Although, there's not a lot of places to sit. I have one smallish couch, two wooden stools, an office chair and a Star Wars lawn chair, so ya might wanna bring stuff to sit on. Heck, this is a perfect excuse for me to finally buy a few bean bags... if they still make them.

 

Please give me some idea's on what to cook.

 

I suppose just the standard fare... hot dogs, hamburgers, whatever. Or I could just order lots of pizza from Avers.

Do we have any vegans?

 

Courtney and I will be there. We can pitch in for grilling food or bring other items, just let us know. I will bring some shrimp for grilling to be sure

I love me some pizza, but I'm leaning towards grillin' up some stuff for the shear variety.

Are there any vegans among us?

 

I do not believe so. Some of the college students that have left are standard ovo-lacto vegetarians and my wife is one as well.

 

We need to get a food list going if we are going to cook. The meeting/cookout/ is Next Saturday.

I will defently bring Hot dogs I'm guessing around 5 packs or so if its anything like last time.
I will fix anything anyone wants me to, Im a good cook if I say so myself.

You can bring hot dog buns. Say about 4 packs of them.

And I am a big CHEESE hot dog fan, does anybody else like those or just plain hotdogs?

 

Eric, I haven't had those kinds of hot dogs since I was a kid... I had no idea they still made those. I'm assuming you're talking about those hot dogs that are stuffed with processed cheese? How insanely fattening are those? They must be like 30g of fat each. I like 'em, so feel free to bring some... even though they equate to a heart attack in a bun.

What all do we need for the podcast? Just an outlet?

 

I'll bring baked beans and chips & salsa. I'll eat almost anything, so I'm good with either cheese or plain hot dogs

 

Yes. Im sure it wont last more then an hr if that.
And for entertainment, I have a certain trilogy in HD ,yes I said HD thats to another HA member that will work on your PS3 if you want me to bring them.
