I'd also like to know which date as well as day of the week, I can only afford to sacrafice one Sat from work for this.

If I don't hear from everyone, than I'll make the call! Mwahahaha!

I found out that Intel is making everyone take a week off in November and December. So my Personal Absense time is precious right now.

 

Sorry, was having a bad day. I thought that after Dave last post on asking people if anyone wanted to attend the meeting with MJA and him, I thought nothing but gibberish was posted and I didn't want to read more posts about giving kisses and innuendo. I was a bit cranky. Sorry.

 

I think so far the consenus is for a Saturday. As far as dates go the following Saturdays are or potentially are already taken:

Sat, Oct 5: Rebel Legion Meeting.

Sat, Oct 26: Greedo's Halloween Party.

I assume the PFF meeting is on Oct 12. (Second Saturday of the month, right?)

So the only truly free Saturday that I know of is Oct 19th. (Unless something is going on that I don't know about.)

Of course this being said...all of these meetings usually take place in the late afternoon or early evening and I believe Dave said that they work from 6 am to 2 pm. SO, now that I've typed all this, I suppose it really doesn't matter.

We could help HFH during the day and have any one of those meetings after.

I just wouldn't be able to make it on Oct 5th, I have a nursing conference until 5pm that day and then Rebel Legion at 6pm.

 

Hmmm...Oct. 19th sounds good to me. Might as well claim that date now so people can write it on their calendar as a "do-not-miss" event.

Anyway... on topic. I have two votes for October 19th. Any others feel the same about it? Or is something better in mind.

Also here is another idea. I can only do the one Sat. But, if anyone feels better about Tuesdays, I'm always free for them.

edit: meaning I'll do both a Sat. and a couple Tuesdays.

 

I like Oct. 19. So far no plans.

 

I'll be there for the October 19th build and so will Mr. Wench. He wants to lend his services as well for a good cause. Can't wait!!
