how many so called star wars fans out there have taken on the greatest satr wars literary challenge since Vader's Quest the dreaded "Glove of vader series" after all you do realize that it is part of the timeline.

 

Evidently some people failed the literary challenge, especially with respect to grammar and punctuation.

 

The Trioculus Saga came before Vader's Quest. In fact, those 6 books are among the first 10 SW novels ever released.

2. Spinter of the Mind's Eye (Feb. 1978)


3. Han Solo at Star's End (Apirl 1979)


4. Han Solo's Revenge (Nov. 1979


5. The Empire Strikes Back (May 1980)


6. Han Solo and the Lost Legacy (1980, month not listed)


7. Return of the Jedi (June 1983)


8. Lando Calrissian and the Mind Harp of Sharu (July 1983)


9. Lando Calrissian and the Flamewind of Oseon (Oct. 1983)


10. Lando Calrissian and the Starcave of Thonboka (Dec. 1983)

Those were the first ten Star Wars novels released. The first books in the Glove of Vader series would not appear until July 1992, a month after Dark Force Rising was released.

 

I think he meant among the first in "modern" EU.

 

The modern, purely EU novels started with SotME. All that happened in 91 was that the first new EU novel in nearly ten years was released.

 

I wasn't being mathematically accurate. Just generalizing. If you counted the Han and Lando books as trilogies of one story, then they are within the first 10.

 

The Glove of Vader series sucks, but I'm not going to begin a hole canon debate on it because I know I will lose.
