Hail to the Redskins!

Well, it wasn't pretty, but at least we won the preseason game. Now maybe that will inspire some confidence in the team in terms of offense.

And unlike week 1, we smoked the Eagles

Onward to the Giants!

 

At this point, as a fellow divisional team fan, I have to say hi-five!

Hopefully both teams are still unbeaten when they face each other (Week 4 isn't it? I forget) for the first time this season. That'll make things REAL interesting in terms of the rivalry.

 

Oh sure, NOW the Giants decide they want to win games.

 

We should have completely killed them.

 

*sighs* Why is it we're the team that ends up resurrecting the Giants? We ended up helping them into the playoffs last year and now we give the their first win? Why!?

 

Because our OC is a ******* asshat?

 

Maybe. I want to know just what does Coughlin have on us that allows us to get are butts whipped.

 

3 - 1 baby!

The game was pretty much over at halftime, but after the Giants game, I've learned not to take these things for granted again.

 

I've really been pleased with Jason Campbell. Hopefully Santana Moss and Brandon Lloyd will be able to play next week. And maybe even Caldwell and McCardell will both get to play. If we can get those four guys playing plus Cooley teams should have an even rougher time stopping our passing game. I'd like to see Portis get more yards though.

Seems kinda fitting that our last chance at the playoffs hinges on beating the Cowboys!

It'll speak volumes of the Redskins if they don't win, considering that most of the Cowboy's first stringers will be playing very little, if at all, in that game. Especially when you consider that Washington is playing the game on their own field.

 

Yeah, the Skins better win.

I hope we get to meet each other real soon. Of course we'll both have something to play for then, and you won't have the opportunity to play a half against reserves at your homefield.

Well at least Darrell Green and Art Monk are in the Hall of Fame!

Still wish the 'Skins were playing in the Game this weekend though.

So Zorn is the top guy.
I'm hesitantly optimistic. I don't like the West Coast offense but I can't deny that it is a successful scheme. Hopefully, they'll let Jason throw a few long passes here and there vs. dink/dunk all day long.
The one thing I worry about offensively is that Zorn may limit Portis' rushes.
