I'm also willing to give this a chance given the successfullness of the Walsh coaching tree which Holmgren is decended from.

Of course now this means we need yet another new offensive coordinator!

    Tell me about it.

Don't really need to worry on Portis' carries though. Remember, Alexander?

*sighs* The schedule is out and it looks like the Redskins are only going to face the weakest teams AFTER the BYE week.

    *sighs*

    *shoots OPPM ontop of it*

I was referring to playing weak teams after byes in general, not the Redskins in particular. My girlfriend is a Redskins fan (from the DC area), so I can't speak ill of the Redskins.

Looks like a good deal for the Redskins, since they didn't have to give up too much. Also, they needed somebody when Daniels went down, and this is certainly worth it.

They assumed the entirety of his contract, though, and that'll cut a lot of their options. Still, it gives them a better chance at a championship run this year, so it's probably worth it.

True, but draft picks are also risky - I'd much rather have an established player than picks. Then again, Miami's in rebuilding mode, so its not a bad choice for them either.

Solid trade on both sides. Gotta like that.

Didn't he have like a year left on that though? I could have sworn I heard that somewhere when all the drama between him and the Dolphins began.

It was cool watching footage of Taylor in Training camp yesterday.

Burgendy and yellow suit him well. :)

Best thing about the Redskins is Chris Cooley's blog. That guy is my favorite player on a team other than the Saints.

The Washington Redskins are the best team in the NFL! (in my opinion). Even though I moved from the Washington area to Florida nearly 5 years ago when I was 11, I still am a huge Redskin fan! And with Jason Taylor now on the team, we're unstoppable![face_dancing]

That was an amazing HOF ceremony.

Three minute standing O for Art Monk [face_hypnotized]
