Hailboards has been discontinued?

I've just been informed by RidingMyCarousel on my Hailboard that the project has been discontinued completely. You can get more info in the Comms thread at Phatooine here. Personally, I've always loved the project and am disappointed that it's closing... as far as my forum goes, I don't know what we're going to do.

Thanks to the developers for doing what they've done. I think it was a great run.

 

Hmm, sorry to hear about that and it looks like their main site can't be accessed right now either. Thanks for the news - there are lots of board system conversion tools out there you may look into if you plan to migrate to a new one.

 

Yeah, I was really disappointed to hear this as well. Those guys put a lot of hard work into that project and it's a shame to see them stop. I loved hB.

 

It's not dead yet. The 1.4 version is being worked on now. I can't say much about it at this point, but I will say that it is *much* improved.

 

Agreed. I think we've eliminated a lot of the glaring problems with the system.

 

The 1.4 version in progress is coming out to be alot more JC/IGNboards like than previous versions in many ways.
