To me it sounds like a rip off of Donkey Kong Country 2 for SNES (or the other way round)

Anyway, I have no idea, but it sounds kinda like some pirate movie, and is quite awesome.

I 'acquired' it under the name of Peter Pan by James Newton Howard, but it does seem more remeniscent of JW

Well are you going to give us another clip or was this thread a clever way of asking about a piece of music you didn't recognize?

 

That recording seemed to have some slight differences in sound and performance from the soundtrack version, which is why I thought it might be a - job. For the record, there are clearly some people who haven't heard it, and I highly recommend it.
