So what is everyone dressing up as for Halloween? If you have kids, what are they going to be? How about the wife, girlfriend, boyfriend, dog and cat?

It looks as if I am doing the Jedi thing this year. I think the boy is with me on that but he is also talking Jack Sparrow. The girls are looking to be Wonder Woman and I think Dora. Though they seem to change their mind daily. I still don't know if my wife is doing anything.

My 6 yo son is going to be Darth Maul (he was Vader last year), and my 3 yo daughter is being a cheerleader. I will probably just be walking around with my luxeon converted Master Replicas Vader lightsaber keeping an eye on them as we go around. If I have time, I am attempting to sew a black jedi hooded robe with the Simplicity pattern I bought (simplicity.. ha!), but my sewing skills are at their infancy right now. As for my wife, I think she is dressing up as a suburban mother taking her kids trick or treating.

My son has decided to be a ninja this year. Which is better than last year... he wanted to be a police officer... but the costume didnt fit quite right and he ended up looking like a member of the village people, it was a little disturbing.

Joe I think I may have to copy your wifes costume... can you tell me where I can find one of those? :)

Unfortunately I dont think that my Rebel Fleet trooper costume will be ready so I think that since my daughter is going at Belle, I will end up as the Beast, and my son is going as Bob the Builder so my wife is going as Wendy.
As long as the RFT costume is ready by CIV I will be happy.

Whats up with the suburban mother thing? It seems to be VERY popular this year.

My boy was a 501st clone trooper last year and of course is still pestering me about getting/making him some armor. I told him me first:p

I will be my Jedi self, Alaina (oldest daughter) is Ariel and we are going to try and make a flouner costume for Gillian. Desiree will be what she is every year..a party pooper. I keep pushing for a SW theme for her but...I think I would develop force abillities before she would go for it.

Last year I was A Jedi Like Anakin in Ep III so this year I will be Darth Vader. My Wife will be Padame again and the kids are still deciding but I think they will both be jedi. My daughter will be Leia. Gabbi is undecided but I'm sure she will find somthing at the Halloween store.

Here is what I did for the Fall Festival at my son's school. All the classes do a pumpkin display. All the kids (and the teacher and assistant) decorated their lightsabers and picked their blade colors. Then I got to work...

Yes Tony, those are the masks you linked me to! I will be adding a little text to the middle area, something about a long time ago in a classroom far far away...

    Enjoy!

Well, I am a happy camper right now. Still want to upgrade the belt and I need to find my under tunic dicky but I am loving how this is coming together.

I'm going in the BDU uniform from the new Galactica series. Just changing it up from the usual SW.

We've had a costume change. I will be in BDU's as a member of SG1 complete with GDO and P-90. My wife will be Osiris. The twins will both be 501st clone troopers. Natasha will be a rabbit and Gabbi will be a scary Fairy.

    DOH!

I am just shaking my head at the kids. They want to dress up as everything.

Very cool. I would like to do a few things like that myself. Right now I am working on a spin off of the Jedi communicator.
