Hey guys! What are you working on for Halloween?

I'm being cheap/random and going as a Jurassic Park park ranger. I'm not going 100% accurate, which would require a 2-toned green hat, green pants, and rain boots, but instead just getting the green work shirt, sewing a Jurassic Park patch on, then using my black work shorts, sewing a JP patch on my hat, and wearing hiking boots. I even found the artwork of the security badges which I will replicate on photoshop.

    What are you?

I am going as a Jedi!!!

I recently commissioned a tunic on eBay. It looks fantastic! I just need an undertunic now, as I'm not a fan of the mock undertunic.

I just got my boots in from eBay, I got my Anakin belt a few days ago, and I will be getting some pouches at Walmart and ordering Jedi capsules off eBay. (I know I won't be able to get super accurate pouches, but at this point I am looking for anything black leather with no zipper that my cell phone and camera can fit in, lol).

I know I didn't make any of it, but I am still really excited. Not to mention I get to show off my Anakin FX 'saber.

My backup costume is an X-Men one; based off of the new recruit uniform in X-Men Evo. I actually painted and made the shoulder pad things and the belt : ) I just need yellow gloves and boots, haha.

Alright, so I can't make up my mind at all. I've been wanting to do a really great star wars costume for years but have never been able to find the time to put something together. This year, yet again I'm crunched for time but decided to throw a Sci-Fi Halloween party in hopes of forcing myself to throw a costume together.

I'm debating between Luke ROTJ Jabba's palace, Bespin Lando or Skiff Guard Lando. I haven't found much luck on where to search for stuff. I have no ability to sew, so I'll need pieces that are near completion. Can anyone offer some help?

I'd love to put together a Boushh Bounty Hunter costume one day, but I imagine that takes a long time.

Since the only way for me to celebrate Halloween is to throw a party with a friend, I'm not really sure. It will have to be cheap. Last year I did my Indiana Jones, but it would be boring to repeat myself.

Working on my ANH Princess Leia! This is my first time costuming outside of stormtrooper armor and I'm really nervous/excited. Stalling on where to find good boots but I should have everything together in time! :)

Briar Rose from Sleeping Beauty. I've already got the wig from when I did the blue gown, and I'm nearly done with the bodice. Still got to find some fabric I like for the skirt.

I'm either going to be Susan from LWW or Leia from ANH, depending on which one gets done first and if I'm home for Halloween :) . And if I'm not home, I might dress as Susan just for the fun of it :) .

And I'm also making a Farmboy Luke for my brother, an ANH Han for the other bro, and a self designed Mirkwood Elf (From the Hobbit) for my sister. Lots to do :) .

Just saw all of your costumes. They are impeccable! How long do they take on average? I'm quite jealous of the Boushh one. How did you make the mask? How long did that one take?

Feel like doing the the Tooth Fairy aka Matilda Dickson Ghost from Darkness Falls but feel the costume not complete without wearing a Burned Face/Head Mask underneath the White Face mask. [face_hypnotized] Will see if I can find that Mask locally since can't spare the money to order a good one online.

Still working on Borsk Fey'lya, but got commissioned to build a rifle scope for a budding Mando Merc and a friend of mine from High School is wanting to do She-Ra for halloween. So I think I might be able to do some leather work to help her out.

So, Borsk is on hold, again. I don't mind, though. I like helping others. I'll just do CorSec this year.

My Giant Chicken Boba Fett costume is finished! I made a little video of the process I went through to make it. It takes a while to load, but I think it came out looking good. The first part is comprised of stills of me making the costume. The second part is video of me putting the costume on.

    Enjoy!

That is pretty much entirely fantastic. :D :D

I'll be wearing the Giselle costume I made for NYCC:

It is comfy (well, with the exception of the shoes, but even those aren't bad as long as you aren't, you know, standing all day) and a lot of fun to wear. Plus, we're having a costume contest at work, and I've got to show that my department isn't defined by its tech-headedness. :p

Shirt's done! Now I just need to print and laminate my badge!

My friend Ari has a replica Jurassic Park jeep, so (weather pending) we're going to do a photo shoot this Friday.

    Dear all,
I've recently finished Mina's red bustle gown from "Bram Stoker's Dracula": http://www.cosplay.com/costume/331692/
And for my husband the red dressing robes from the old Dracula: http://www.cosplay.com/costume/334349/

These garments were made for the vampire's ball at this years RingCon in Bonn, Germany. We're not sure whether we will wear them at Halloween, too. We're not decided if and where to go...

    Hey ya'll,
I am in Atlanta and am looking to hire a realistic Vader and maybe a realistic stormtrooper to come to my son's birthday next month (nov. 13th) for an hour or so. I can't seem to find anybody who offers this service. I have found a couple of companies like heroes 4 hire but they just show up in store bought lame costumes. If anybody could offer some pointers I would greatly appreciate it. jmaxlaw@bellsouth.net is my e-mail.
    Thanks,
    J. Max Davis

    Great pics!

Personally I'm going to go as a character from a Swedish TV ad, so I need to dress in yellow with a black t-shirt and gnawrl at people.

I'm wearing my Atonement Green Gown, and transitioning it to the 40's with an updo.
