well, i would really like to attend with my bat costume. Its coming along very nicely, 40-50% done, but im not going to make a solid commitment until its actually done this time.

HUGE KUDOS TO SARNIA AND ZOOFA DYAS FOR STEPPING UP HERE!!!!!! Anyone attending this event will understand the staggering implications of volunteer effort when they behold the draw to WOTR from this event, and understand what power to do good we have!

Cool, Cool, The Steel City Jedi are in, we are willing to help out in anyway we can. Also my WOOHOOS and Congrats to Zoo and Sarnia you had me worried but you Gals are Good/Bad enough to pull off just about anything. I can't wait see ya soon.

Well Darn It!! I was really hoping this would be on Saturday too. I had pretty well decided to not do pictures at work that day so I could do this event instead. But now it is only on Sunday? I work Sunday so can't do it at all now.

 

There will be opportunities other than the day of the event itself to help out with this one. We want to get the bulk of the decorating done in the middle of Oct...

Another way to help... Get sponsors for the event

We have some things leftover from last year, but we need more as well. Talk to your bosses if you work in retail, ask the managers at your favorite stores, etc... Let's see if we can outdo ourselves from last year... I will be asking all the groups to try and get some sponsors. The big things we need right now are decorations and prizes, but cash works, too.

 

I will ask the local Moose Lodge for things.... One of our members is related some how to the owner of it....

 

Do we know the times for the event on Sunday, Oct 30 yet?

 

Noon to 5PM will be the event itself, and setup will start at 8-9AM... There will also be some setup being done on Saturday (Decorations and stage setup).
