[face_pumpkin] Thanks for inviting us. It was a blast. Anytime you would like me to bring "The Book" to an event or get together, feel free to ask. I bought it as a reference tool, so the more we use it, the lower the price seems to go :D and the better value it seems. Perhaps we could have another showing at Astronomicon or afterwards if any of you are coming to the Make-A-Wish Gala in 2 weeks. Take care and hope to be trooping with you again soon. Daria.

:D I have to check my schedule (basketball and bowling)

Technically we werent invited to this event ;) however If we are free that weekend I would love and come and crash the event [face_devil]

I honestly dont have any new SW costumes on my sewing table right now, I am gearing up for a new costume for a new movie coming out.......but anytime I can take a peek at the book I am always thrilled!
I will tell you about it then :)

Well, the Make-A-Wish Gala is a 501st./Rebel Legion event, meaning that it's much stricter than most of the events we participate in. For example, you can only wear an approved costume and only 1 person per face costume on the floor at a time. It's been announced on the Echo Base and Garrison Excelsior boards. As for Astronomicon, it's a Rochester literary convention, but there are some cool guests this year.

You're welcome to crash Astronomicon, but the Make-A-Wish event is limited to 501st/RL approved members and costumes only and there are limited slots available.

Well, I am a member of Rebel legion, however I dont really care to go thru the hub bub for approval. ;)
We just wanted to say hello.

Perhaps another time when you guys dont have so much going on :)

Yup, I know that you are both RL & 501st, but not everyone on FanForce is. So I'll direct you to visit the Make-A-Wish thread on either of those forums if you have questions or wish to volunteer so as not to derail this thread any further. But to reply to your comment: there's no additional approval process if you're wearing a RL/501st approved costume. Although I will let you know now that we already have 2 people wanting to do Vader. ;)

However, Astronomicon is all weekend and is open to anyone and everyone and we (well not me as I'm in charge of registration) should have plenty of time to chat during that event.

;) Oh I'm pretty sure that Vicky dosen't mind NOT doing Vader. You should have seen it we almost had to put Vader on her ourselves with her kicking & screaming all the way. [face_not_talking]

VERY true! If I go I have a rebel legion approved Jedi costume, so no worries having too many vaders ;)

I will check out the thread :)

That's awesome! Looks like a lot of fun. One of these times i'm going to head to the Cuse for an event, once I get off this working every weekend garbage. Anyone going to C4?
