You have Halloween in the spring. Even in the Southeastern US (read: the warmest climate in the country), it's pretty rare that it's warm enough to go trick-or-treating in a lascivious costume.

The costumes for adult Halloween parties, however... [face_whistling]

Although I will say that it was 80 degrees on Halloween four years ago; my son was dressed up as a skeleton and his hair was plastered to his head with sweat when he took the mask off. It was one of those autumns when I really wanted to move further north.

Here in Michigan, it gets pretty cold for Halloween. Cold enough that jackets are pretty much required sometimes.

The current plan for me and my dude if we can afford/manage it (since we're cheap bums) is he-man and skeletor. Only my skeletor will be in stilettos. Because. He can.

Well you definitely give off an Evil Lynn vibe.

2 years ago, at a work conference, the theme was dress as your childhood hero. I went as Indiana Jones because to this day, I strongly relate to his message of punching Germans in and around the face. But a dude went as He Man. It was glorious.

For a moment it was the early 80s again.

Anyway, yes. You should do this SLG. However, it should be "my dude and I". Skeletor would never make a grammatical mistake.

I'm going to be wearing the same bearded fat suit costume that I wore last year.

Well for me Halloween is a mandatory work day/night, so I have to work, but we ARE allowed to dress up. I still have my full uniform from when I worked at Swissport Cargo Services at LAX, so I may use that as my costume, since one, I really don't have the money to splurge on a nice costume, and two, I fear I may be too fat for a nice costume. :p

    Interesting ideas.

I'm going to Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, so unfortunately I can't do anything scary (unless I wanted to be kicked out and fired since I work for Disney), but I have two ideas.I might go as Pepper Potts since I can pull it off since I have red hair and business clothes or I'd go as Elphaba from Wicked.

But so much of what Disney does is scary for kids. Are they saying you can't go as most of the villains?

No, but since the villains are going to be there, it would be rather pointless to go as one.I wouldn't want children flocking to me.
