Ok did I miss anyone or their guest(s)? As the deadline approaches I will be updating the list more often. Please, please, please! Let me know soon if there are changes. I want this to go smooth for Dinogallus and his fam. Also as soon as you can post any other transportation concerns here. I will have a list of those coming soon.

Oh yeah, another plug for the list serve. Be sure to sign up. I've been sending invites here and there, this is a great way to get in contact quickly with one another. If you are worried about mail clogging up your inbox change the setting to daily digest. You will get at most one email a day from the group tha way.

 

I will see if I can give some of you these hasbro clone wars short story booklets, which come with postcards and if you send them into hasbro you get a free clone wars poster. So, I think I have about two or three left, so you'd better claim 'em fast!

Ok, I was considering bringing a 51 dish cd changer to the party. I think that it'd be great to get movie sound tracks and play them, (got the ok from Dinogallus) I have all the Star Wars soundtracks. Anyone have LOTR, Harry Potter, Indiana Jones, or other sci-fi, Lucasfilm movies? I want things everyone can enjoy (ie no heavy metal, rap etc).

Also decorations, anyone want to volunteer to help me put them up? Anyone who is riding with me is automatically volunteered to help. Ideas for the theme (beyond Star Wars of course) and donations of decorations are welcome.

 

Not that any of you care and not that I've ever been to a meeting, but I won't be at this one either.

Dajuan, I have the fellowship of the ring soundtrack and The Phantom Menace Ultimate Edition soundtrack. Would you like me to bring those?

 

Totally bring those. We'll have a list of who brought what to make sure they get back to their owners, or if you don't mind writing on the CD that'd work too. (I just can't bring myself to scribble on them so if you don't want to I understand.)

So we have: Star Wars: ANH, ESB, ROTJ, PM, PMUE, AOTC, Lord of the rings: FOTR so far.

On that note, I was hoping people would volunteer to be on committees for the upcoming meeting. The way I see it we need a couple:

• Music committee

*(2)duties- keep track of the stereo and everyone's cd's

• Decoration committee

*(2-3)arrive early, bring and/or put up decorations; figure a decoration theme

• Ride committee

*(1-2)make sure everyone gets there and home on time

• Clean-up committee

*(2-4)take down decorations and make sure we don't trash the place

• Finance committee

*(2-3)work out the dreaded check when the time comes

Ok as it stands I can do any and all of these functions, but I would like to enjoy myself at the party as well. I am hoping if we split the duties everyone can have fun. I will take the duty that no one volunteers for so pick now before the good jobs are taken. The number in listed is the numbe of people I think are needed for each job. Feel free to sign up for two jobs if you want.

My b/f should be on the music committee because he is suppplying the stereo an dsome of the music. Any takers?

 

If I'm going to be on any commitee, it would have to be music.

Decoration committee: No craftiness whatsoever.
Ride committee: No licence. Of course I can try to get it before the meeting like I planned...
Clean-up committee: I have a bad feeling about this....
Finance committee: jobless. Darn.....

 

I can get ahold of a mini van and give rides.
