Can we watch Plan 9 from Outer Space too?!?!
The perfect height is 5'1" - 5'3"
I am just under 5'3" and going nowhere heightwise. The greatest shock of my life was when I had a physical after my freshman year of college and discovered that I had left at 5'1" and returned at 5'2.75".
As for the perfect height....I beg to differ. I believe that the perfect height is whatever it takes to get your feet to reach the ground.
Blasphemy? How so?
I thought for the longest time I was taller than my mom. Then I found out I'm barely 5'2". yet I can get things down from higher shelves.
Now did this conversation get off the original subject or what!!??
Good gosh people........
TK, you're just saying that cause you're tall!
No but seriously, no one cares. Oops, I mean shut up. OOPS! I mean, uh...
short... is good...
have fun you all....
*note: No offense was meant in this post. I was out until 9:45 this morning, I'm a little tired*
Ah, yes. You're one of those short people with long arm or short-torsoed people with long arms. Whatever. All I know is I'm a shrimp and everyone in my family has long arms, but when I'm at the piano, I'm up there flush with the keyboard, stubby little arms stretching to reach all the good stuff. When I was on a 1/2 size violin, my younger sister was on a full-size. Even now, I'm on the smallest adult viola there is and I have a central chin rest because otherwise my arm can't stretch far enough.
Hehe, one of my most embarrasing moments was at my piano recital when my legs didn't fit under the piano. I sat there for a while, then asked for a new bench.
Lol. My mother has had a couple of those (she's a piano teacher).
And you complained about us getting off the subject.
I just hate at work I have to get stools to get the parts off of most of the shelves.
I hate work because my legs are too short and my arms are too stubby for reaching the high shelves.
It's 2 weeks exactly to the DVD pickup. When's the costume list going up?
And we ARE going to media play, right? Since I already payed my $20 and everything there, I would hope so.
That's what Mike said
Man, this is gonna be cool!
Yeah it is!! It gives me SOMETHING to look forward to.
But this is terrible - now I'm getting impatient, after I kept telling all of you to be patient. How about that list Mike?
(We're not desperate or anything )
OK. Here's the status...
Everything is going according to plan. I am waiting to hear back from the Owner/Manager of Media Play in Orem. I wrote a professional letter and included a color print of several of the costumes from our past events. You can see this print [link=http://www.starwarsutah.com/costumes/costumes1.jpg]HERE[/link] (BEWARE! This is a Hi-res image that is 970kb)
I am working on costumes and accessories DAILY. Don't worry, I know it's less than two weeks now. There will be a costume list very soon.
Remember, you guys don't have to do anything but show up and wear the costume.
Ok sounds good.
Fantastic. Can't wait.
As I've indicated earlier, my wife and I have been working hard to complete several additional costumes for the 16th.
To show you that we've been making progress, here's some photos I took tonight(After the BYU game of course )...
I have 2 of these costumes completely done.
The list will DEFINITLEY be up this coming Monday or Tuesday.
Great shots. Still eagerly awaiting the list.
Awesome!! They look way good!!
Can't wait to see them in person on the 16th.
I have to bail on the dvd pickup... I have a marching band competition from 3-11 that day.
Speaaking of the DVD pickup, when will the costume list be up? It's 8 days to ground zero and no sign of it? Good luck in the competition. ::Scurries back to her viola...::
