So, just wondering if anyone has been thinking about what the PFF is gonna do for Halloween? I mean C'mon with all those nifty costumes..something must be organized. Just throw ideas here or whatever else..

I hope to have my Sith Jawa costume done by then..heh.

They used to do a cool Halloween thing down on Mill, but I haven't gone in a long time. (Shame on me, I live really close. :)) That might be fun, if they still do it. I WILL have a costume by then.

I know some people who went last year. They said it was a decent haunted house. I didn't go on Halloween, but I have eaten there. It was seriously the best chicken sandwich I have ever had in my life. :)

J_K WR you can try bigyellowbox.com for great tutorials on how to build a great looking lightsaber. However the sight is almost never available do to bandwidth limitations. PM kreleia for some possible links to other prop building sites. Or you could try to make or next prop/costume building get together. I know it is difficult you being in flag and all but these are usually all day events so it might be worth it.
there are enough of that have experience in building a LS that we could definitley get you on your way if not have something complete by the time you leave.

Thanks for the tips army no arms I would definately come down for a day like that!! I just started the whole costuming thing and I LOVE IT!! I never knew I could sew! I got a sewing machine last Christmas and I found a hidden delight in making costumes with my sewing machine. Of course I'm not a Master yet, but I think there will be many more costumes to come! :D

Anyway, sorry for the babbling, I will definately come to a costume get-together! Mileage? Hah! Distance? Hah! I worry not for those things! I just really want to get my saber made!! [face_laugh]

P.S. If anyone wants to check out my costume, and let me know what they think, I would be grateful. I'm on The Rebel Legion under Jedi..same user name. This picture doesn't show the robe, I finished that after I did the picture.

Your costume looks great. I hope we all get to see it in person sometime soon. I am just the opposite. I have the belt, boot, and saber done. It is the costume I am having difficulty getting done. Luckliy we have her royalnessness to help us out.

I'm not going to be a Sandtrooper.

    Did that surprise anyone?

LOL at Mulder and Scully as a Halloween costume. [face_laugh] I'd love to be Scully, but I'm too tall. Besides, if you're who I think you are, how can you go as yourself? :D

I'm just getting started on some Correllian jedi robes (black cloak, emerald-y green underneath). It's been a looong time since I've sewn anything (we're talking junior high ), but I think I can do it.

Hey IA-Are you going to get some more use out of your Thrawn costume, or are you (and the queen :)) cooking up something new?

Actually I'm wearing a speedo right now. Halloween is my one night a year I don't wear the speedo. Also it is easy to dress as yourself, I do it everyday.

TD69 aka Sandy: Only if I get to wear the corset dress. [face_sexy]

Kirana: I'll probably go with something different for Halloween and save Thrawn for the Star Wars events. There has been some talk of getting a group together to go as characters from the Matrix, but I'm not sure where I'd come up with the right suit to be an Agent. I've got a couple other ideas though, one of which involves bleaching my hair... ;)
