Halloween Party 2003!

so i'm thinking of having a halloween costume party. actually lisa and i had kicked around the idea of a huge bash a couple of weeks ago, but big rooms and halls are already booked so i was thinking of a smaller gathering (my dad has graciously allowed me use of the hosue for such an event)

the date i had in mind is saturday, october 25. costumes are, of course, optional, for those who don't want to dress up. i'd like to extend the invitation to the boston rebels as well as those members of NYC whom i know and might be interested in attending. there would of course be games, music, food etc.

nothing is set in stone yet, but i wanted to get some feedback as to who might be interested in attending!

Obviously I'm in. And in costume. I love taking any excuse to dress up! I hope everyone else dresses up, too!

Now I just need to settle which costume I am gonna wear and all will be good...

 

Are you thinking about Saturday, October 25th or Sunday, October 26th?

Saturdays are good for me. The Rebels meet should be on the 18th, so I don't think I have any plans for the 25th. The 26th would be bad, but not necessarily impossible.

crap! I want to go to this thing but I am dog sitting that weekend. What bad luck for me. I'm missing everything!

 

I'm in...unless it conflicts w/my uncles Halloween Party though. I don't know the date for his just yet. I'll find out soon as I can.

Oh man Seldon you should dress up as Darth Vader. That way you have that cool button that calls your parents to pick you up.

I was thinking...Okay, maybe I could go for a little bit, depending on how my dog is acting. I will have to play it by ear and judge when the time comes. Do you know what time it will start?

kerri i'm thinking in the evening, maybe 7 or 8 ... but you could set your own hours if you needed to leave early for the dog. you know you waaaant tooooo

Okay, well I am going to try really hard to come, and it's really depending on how my dog is behaving.

But, that means I am going to have to get some directions again. Maybe I can follow them this time?

And we're not only doing SW costumes. I know of a couple people who aren't doing SW costumes, myself included!

yes there will be various costumes. i will be going as mystique (comic book version!)(almost time to pick up the yellow contacts!) and there may also very well be a trinity there. but of course, there are classics, like tony as sidious. simply a must.

 

The Emperor? Oh no, Sidious, right. I almost got the two confused.

Um, I haven't decided on my costume yet. Big decision for me. To STar Wars or not to Star Wars, that is the question.

And even if I am there only for a little bit, I still need to dress up somehow
