Buff, NY Halloween Party : Ideas, Interest, Dates

I'm just checking to see if there is interest in a North Ridge Halloween Party this year. For newer members, this is a fun time to get together and suit up in NON- StarWars costumes.

Halloween is during the week. Available Saturday's are Oct 7, 15, and 22. Or Sunday: Oct 8, 16, 23.

Also, is anyone able to host? Or secure a location?

Food: we've collected $ for pizza and folks brought beverages and snacks/sides. But that can always change.

Please leave your thoughts/feedback. We can finalize and discuss briefly at the SWN debrief mtg.

 

Dates are off slightly. Saturday is the 8th, Sunday the 9th.

 

Interested!!! All of those dates are open right now. Everybody won't fit inside my house. Location??? Think on it.

I definitely would be unable to attend on either the 8th or 9th, but the other weekends look ok right now. As for venue, I have no ideas. Food: the simpler the better, so I'm in favor of pizza.

 

I'm available only on the 22/23 weekend in October.

I know Beckie chimed in already, but we are definitely in for it. And I agree with Tom that keeping it simple for food seems to be the best way to go. I'm trying to think of places that we could have the party but nothing is coming to mind that doesn't cost anything.

 

Karen and myself would be interested with any weekend but 15-16th . As for venue ....would we be able to get McKinley mall room for this ....or don't think would be big enough ....just an idea

Sounds like an interesting location. Could you investigate? Can we bring adult beverages? Our own food?availability?

At the mtg, AJ and I offered to host Oct 29.

Generally, about 30 people attend as this is open to families. Being its the sat before Halloween, I imagine folks may party hop that night.

 

Jeff and I have another party that evening, but we could certainly try to make it. Although, both of us had already decided months ago that we were doing Star Wars for costumes this year, so perhaps we could have a pass on that requirement?

 

I would LOVE to join in the fun, alas October constitutes the final term in my bachelor degree, so I will not be certain of my availability.

 

I highly doubt that I will be available for this. We're adding a new attraction to the night club at the casino, and we will very likely be having a big Halloween event that evening. So I will probably be working.

 

Unfortunately, we cannot attend on the 29th as we are commitrd to a family event. Sorry.
